Sizzlar is the debut studio album by Australian record producer, L D R U. The album was released on 14 July 2017 [3] and peaked at number 66 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart. A remix album was released in February 2018. [4]

Contents

When speaking about the album, Carmody said "Take My" is his favourite track because "it's kind of a bit different and out of the norm to what I'd usually do... It was about a one night stand and picking up girls in the club, so it was kind of a fun process to write about." [5]

The track reached No. 14 on the Australian ARIA Charts and No. 22 on Triple J Hottest 100, 2015, and was nominated for a 2016 ARIA Award for Best Dance Release and for Breakthrough Artist. LDRU embarked on a capital cities tour of Australia in July 2016. His first studio album, Sizzlar, peaked at No. 66 on the ARIA Charts. The name L D R U derives from the phrase "left, down, right, up", a part of a cheat code used in the Grand Theft Auto series of games.
