Skai 100.3 (or Skai Radio) is a Greek informational and entertainment radio station, the larger an audience in Greece, [1] that broadcasts a wide variety of spoken-word programs, including news, sports, culture, and comedy.

Skai 100.3 is part of the Skai Group one of the largest media groups in Greece. From its beginning in 1989 (then called Sky 100.4) has been in cooperation with BBC World Service, Deutsche Welle and Voice of America. [1] In 2007, joined forces with other European radio stations for the creation of Euranet. [1] [2] The CEO of SKAI 100.3 is Aris Portosalte, a notable journalist well known for his commentary on the news of Skai TV. He has a morning show.

Skai TV

Skai TV is a Greek free-to-air television network based in Piraeus. It is part of the Skai Group, one of the largest media groups in the country. It was relaunched in its present form on 1 April 2006 in the Athens metropolitan area, and gradually spread its coverage nationwide. Besides digital terrestrial transmission, it is available on the subscription-based encrypted services of Nova and Cosmote TV.

Skai Group is one of the largest private media groups in Greece owned by Eidiseis Dot Com Anonymi Radiotileoptiki-Emporiki Etairia Parohis Pliroforion-Enimerosis. It consists of one television station, three radio stations, one news web portal and one publishing house. The media group is connected with "I KATHIMERINI" S.A. which publishes the Greek newspaper Kathimerini.

Then he continued as a radio producer for Skai 100.3. Since 1991, he presents news broadcasts on the radio where he has his own radio show. He also writes articles at the newspaper Kathimerini and he participates as a guest commenter at the news of Skai TV. Recently he became famous for his commentary on the Greek government-debt crisis. He was also journalist and coordinator of the famous TV show series of Skai TV 1821; the birth of a nation (2011).

Anti-austerity movement in Greece 2010-12 civil unrest in Greece over the governments debt crisis and resulting policies

The anti-austerity movement in Greece involves a series of demonstrations and general strikes that took place across the country. The events, which began on 5 May 2010, were provoked by plans to cut public spending and raise taxes as austerity measures in exchange for a €110 billion bail-out, aimed at solving the Greek government-debt crisis. Three people were killed on 5 May in one of the largest demonstrations in Greece since 1973.

Sakis Tanimanidis is a Greek TV host, producer and entrepreneur. Tanimanidis became known in his native country as the host, creator, producer and director of the travel show World Party that aired on Alpha TV from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, he became a household name as the Greek host and co-producer of Survivor 2017(the adaptation of the international franchise for the Turkish and Greek television). He is also the owner of two restaurants and one travel agency in Greece.

2021 Greece wildfires 2021 forest fires in Greece

The 2021 Greece wildfires are multiple wildfires burning in Greece since early August 2021, which have killed 3 people, injured at least 20 others and burned dozens of homes, after an historic heatwave for the country with the highest temperatures reaching 47.1 °C (116.8 °F). Authorities have evacuated several villages and towns. According to BBC News, Greece is experiencing the worst heatwave since 1987. These fires are the worst fires in Greece since the 2007 Greek forest fires which burnt more than double the area of the 2021 fires.

Big Brother Greece 7 is the seventh season of the Greek reality television series Big Brother. The show began airing on 29 August 2021 on Skai TV. It is the second season of Big Brother to air on Skai TV. The show also simulcast live in Cyprus on Sigma TV like in the last season.
