Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is the flag carrier airline of Tanzania based in Dar es Salaam with its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport. It was established as Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC) in 1977 after the dissolution of East African Airways and has been a member of the African Airlines Association since its inception. The airline was wholly owned by the Tanzanian Government until 2002 when it was partially privatised as per the directive of the Bretton Woods Institutions to implement the country's Structural Adjustment Program. The government therefore reduced its shareholding to 51 percent and entered into a partnership with South African Airways.
J-Air Co., Ltd., is a regional commuter airline with its headquarters in the Terminal Building in Osaka International Airport near Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan and its main hub at Osaka International Airport. J-Air previously had its headquarters in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Its operations include scheduled passenger services to 17 destinations across regional Japan, under Japan Airlines flight numbers. The airline has a fleet of 35 aircraft, consisting of Embraer 170s and Embraer 190s linking tier-two and tier-three cities in Japan as to bypass the airline’s congested hub in Tokyo.

The airline owed ₨1.36 billion to Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) and its employees salaries.
Magnum Air (SkyJet), Inc., operating as SkyJet Airlines, is Manila's first boutique airline in the Philippines that launched the Manila-Basco route for its initial operation The airline started regular commercial flights on 14 December 2012.
DART Ukrainian Airlines, was a Ukrainian airline headquartered in Kyiv and based at Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany). In April 2018, the airline ceased all operations.
