Entebbe International Airport is the only international airport in Uganda. It is located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) southwest of the town of Entebbe, on the northern shores of Lake Victoria. This is approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) by road south-west of the central business district of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.

Uganda Airlines was the flag carrier of Uganda. The airline was established in May 1976, and started operations in 1977. It was headquartered in Entebbe, Wakiso District, Uganda, and operated from its hub in Entebbe International Airport.

Eagle Air is an airline based in Kampala, Uganda. It operates regional scheduled services and charter flights across East and Central Africa. Its main base is Entebbe International Airport, and it also maintains a second hub at Arua Airport, in the Northern Region of the country.

Nasair, officially known as Nasair Eritrea, was an airline based in Asmara, Eritrea. It operated scheduled flights to domestic destinations in Eritrea, as well as limited scheduled services to the Middle East and Eastern Africa. As of May 2014 the airline was reported to be "out of business."

Meridiana Africa Airlines (Uganda) Limited, trading as Air Uganda, was a privately owned airline in Uganda from 2007 to 2014. It suspended its operations when the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) revoked the airline's air operator's certificate.

Royal Daisy Airlines, was a private airline in Uganda. The airline is no longer in business.

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) is the government agency responsible for licensing, monitoring, and regulating civil aviation matters. It is administered by the Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport.

The East African Civil Aviation Academy (EACAA), also known as the Soroti Flying School, is a Ugandan school that trains aircraft pilots and aircraft maintenance engineers.

DAS Handling Limited, is an airport ground handling service company in Uganda. It is the second-largest ground handling company at Entebbe International Airport,, Uganda's largest civilian and military airport, behind market leader Entebbe Handling Services.

National Aviation Services Uganda (NASU), also NAS Uganda, (formerly Entebbe Handling Services (ENHAS), is an airport ground handling service company based in Uganda. It is the largest ground handling company at Entebbe International Airport (IATA: EBB, ICAO: HUEN), Uganda's largest civilian and military airport, where it services at least 19 airlines, as of November 2017.

Hoima International Airport, also Kabaale International Airport, is an airport under construction in Hoima, Uganda. It is part of the infrastructure under construction as Uganda prepares to develop its nascent petroleum industry. When completed, it would be Uganda's second international airport, besides Entebbe International Airport. The new airport is expected to facilitate mobilization of equipment for construction of the Uganda Oil Refinery and assist in the development of agriculture and tourism in Uganda's Western Region.

Monica Azuba Ntege is a Ugandan engineer and politician. She was the Minister of Works and Transport in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016 replacing John Byabagambi, who became Minister for Karamoja. She was replaced by Katumba Wamala in the cabinet on 14 December 2019.

Vule Airways Limited was a privately owned airline in Uganda. Established in March 2017, it was expected to begin scheduled commercial flights in November 2017.

The Uganda Aviation School (UAS), is an aviation training school in Uganda, that provides training for prospective pilots, cabin crew staff, aviation customer managers and related courses in the aviation industry.

Michael Etiang is a Ugandan airline pilot and business executive, who serves as the Chief Pilot of Uganda National Airlines Company, the revived national airline of Uganda.

Aerolink Uganda is a privately owned airline in Uganda, licensed by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority with an air operator's certificate. It specializes in transporting tourists to Uganda's National Parks, saving their time and allowing them to see more.

Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. The current carrier began flying in August 2019.

BAR Aviation Uganda, is an air services company offering five distinctive services in Uganda, namely: (a) airline charter services (b) pilot training (c) medical evacuation flights (d) scheduled airline flights to domestic destinations and (e) aircraft maintenance services. Its main base is Entebbe International Airport. The company also maintains a second hub at Kajjansi Airport, in Wakiso District, off of the Kampala-Entebbe Road, in the Central Region of the country.

Jenifer Bamuturaki is a Ugandan businesswoman and corporates executive, who serves as the chief executive officer of Uganda Airlines, the national airline of Uganda, since July 2022. Before that she served as the CEO in acting capacity, at the same airline.
