The Tupolev Tu-154 is a three-engined, medium-range, narrow-body airliner designed in the mid-1960s and manufactured by Tupolev. A workhorse of Soviet and (subsequently) Russian airlines for several decades, it carried half of all passengers flown by Aeroflot and its subsidiaries, remaining the standard domestic-route airliner of Russia and former Soviet states until the mid-2000s. It was exported to 17 non-Russian airlines and used as a head-of-state transport by the air forces of several countries.
SkyEurope Airlines was a low-cost airline headquartered in Bratislava, with its main base at Bratislava Airport (BTS) in Bratislava, Slovakia, and another base in Prague. The carrier filed for bankruptcy on 31 August 2009 and suspended all flights on 1 September 2009. The airline operated short-haul scheduled and charter passenger services.
The Antonov An-12 is a four-engined turboprop transport aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. It is the military version of the Antonov An-10 and has many variants. For more than three decades the An-12 was the standard medium-range cargo and paratroop transport aircraft of the Soviet air forces. A total of 1,248 were eventually built.
Albanian Airlines MAK Sh.p.k was an airline based in Tirana, Albania. It operated scheduled international services. Its main hub was Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. On 11 November 2011 Albania's Civil Aviation Authority revoked the license of Albanian Airlines.
M. R. Štefánik Airport, also called – especially in English – Bratislava Airport or Bratislava-Ivanka, located approximately 9 km (5.6 mi) northeast of the city center of Bratislava, spanning over the area of three municipalities. It is the main international airport of Slovakia. Shortly after the independence of Slovakia in 1993, it was named after general Milan Rastislav Štefánik (1880–1919), whose aircraft crashed near Bratislava in 1919. The airport is owned and run by Letisko M. R. Štefánika – Airport Bratislava, a.s. (BTS). As of September 2014 the company is fully owned by the Slovak Republic via the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development.

It was the flag carrier of the Slovak Republic operating a scheduled service to Moscow and to Brussels. It also offered international charter flights to Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Russia, Spain, Tunisia, and Turkey. The company also ran wet-lease operations. Its main base was M. R. Štefánik Airport, Bratislava.
Seagle Air was a charter airline based in Trenčín, Slovakia. It had its operations out of M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava, with a second base in Prague. The airline operated non-scheduled air services, including passenger, cargo and mail charter flights to domestic and international destinations.
Air-Transport Europe spol. s r.o. is a specialist Slovak airline based in Poprad. Using a business jet and a helicopter fleet, it undertakes personal transport, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), aerial works and contract helicopter services. It is also an authorised service centre for AgustaWestland and MIL helicopters. Its main base is Poprad-Tatry International Airport (TAT), with other bases at Košice International Airport (KSC), M. R. Štefánik Airport (BTS) Bratislava, Banská Bystrica, Nitra, Trenčín and Žilina. ATE is provider of 7 HEMS bases in Slovakia and 2 HEMS bases in the Czech Republic.
Uzhhorod International Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Uzhhorod, in the western Ukrainian province of Zakarpattia. The airport is situated in the westernmost part of the city, in the Chervenytsia district at 145, Sobranetska Street. It is a small airport, serving Uzhhorod and the whole oblast. The airport's runway begins 90 meters from the Ukrainian-Slovak international border, so planes must use Slovak airspace for some take-offs and landings under special treaty.

Danube Wings, trading as VIP Wings, a.s., was a Slovakia-based airline that ceased operations in 2013. Danube Wings had operated regional scheduled services on domestic and international routes using ATR 72 aircraft. Its home base was M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava. VIP Wings, a privately owned Slovak company, was the holder of the licences and the AOC.
TUS Airways is the largest airline of Cyprus. It is headquartered in Larnaca and based in Larnaca International Airport. The airline was established in June 2015 and started flights from Larnaca on 14 February 2016.
