Skynet Airlines was an airline from Ireland that was operational between 2001 and 2004. [1]
Skynet began operations from Shannon Airport to Amsterdam, with onward connections to Moscow, Russia, using Boeing 737 aircraft. Skynet rented unused routes and airport slots from and operate code shared routes with Aeroflot.
In May 2004 the aircraft leasing company impounded Skynet's two Boeing 737 aircraft at Shannon amid a rent dispute, and the airline was forced to cancel all flights indefinitely. In June 2004 the airline announced it was in talks with Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise of St. Petersburg, but as of October 2004 no flights had taken place. A further plan to resume flights in May 2005 between Shannon, St Petersburg, Moscow and New York has also failed to occur.
After the company became defunct, its website was acquired by the Russian airline of the same name.

Cameroon Airlines was an airline from Cameroon, serving as flag carrier of the country. Based in Douala, it operated scheduled services within Africa, as well as to Europe and the Middle East out of its hub at Douala International Airport, with a second network focus on Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport. The company was 96.43 per cent state owned, with the remaining shares having been held by Air France. It ceased operations in March 2008; its role as Cameroon's flag carrier was taken over by Camair-Co.

ASL Airlines Belgium, formerly TNT Airways, is a Belgian cargo airline operating chartered flights mainly to European destinations. It has its head office and hub on the grounds of Liège Airport. The airline used to be a subsidiary of TNT Express but was sold to ASL Airlines Ireland in 2016 and subsequently rebranded.

On September 1, 2018, Utair Flight 579, a Boeing 737-800 on a scheduled domestic flight from Moscow to Sochi, Russia, with 164 passengers and 6 crew, overran the runway and caught fire while landing at Sochi, injuring 18 occupants. One airport employee died of a heart attack.
