Slaves Shall Serve is the fifth EP by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. The first four tracks were recorded during the Demigod studio sessions at Hendrix Studios during July and August in 2004. The last two tracks were recorded live at the Sweden Rock Festival in 2005. [3]

Contents

The EP was released as an enhanced audio disc with two videos of Slaves Shall Serve. Both the censored and uncensored versions are included.

In 2011, the EP (along with several previously unreleased live tracks) was bundled with Conjuration and released as part of the compilation album Abyssus Abyssum Invocat .

Behemoth is a Polish extreme metal band from Gdańsk, formed in 1991. They are considered to have played an important role in establishing the Polish extreme metal underground.

The Nefilim British metal band

Nefilim was initially a Carl McCoy studio project co-formed with John ‘Capachino’ Carter in 1992 after the disbanding of Fields of the Nephilim. It featured McCoy on vocals and keyboards and John Carter on bass, guitars and drums. The album title track Zoon was written during this period as were now famed demos including ‘Red Harvest777, Chaochracy & Subsanity (Sensorium). After a year Carter and McCoy parted company. McCoy went on to recruit Paul Miles on guitar, Simon Rippin on drums and Cian Houchin on bass. Nefilim released one album, Zoon (1996), which was more influenced by death metal and industrial metal than McCoy's previous releases with the Fields of the Nephilim, though similar themes of mysticism are prevalent, seen in songs like "Pazuzu ," which refers to the Assyro-Babylonian god also known as "king of the demons." Rippin and Miles would later go on to form Sensorium, while Houchin would go on to form Saints of Eden. McCoy and Carter would later re-establish Fields of the Nephilim as a living entity which still performs today.

<i>Pandemonic Incantations</i> 1998 studio album by Behemoth

Pandemonic Incantations is the third studio album by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. The album was recorded during August and September 1997, at Selani Studio and was mixed in October 1997. The album was then released in 1998 by Solistitium Records, whilst Behemoth were still in their period of transition from black metal to blackened death metal. A remastered digipak version was released by Metal Mind Records with six bonus tracks, including five live tracks recorded during the European tour in Toulouse, France, on 27 February 1999 and a studio version of With Spell of Inferno (Mefisto).

Demigod is the seventh studio album by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. The album was recorded during May and July in 2004 at the Hendrix Studios and was released in October 2004. Daniel Bergstrand mixed the record at the Dug out Studios in Uppsala, Sweden during July and August in 2004. The record was then mastered at the Cutting Room in Stockholm, Sweden in August 2004.

Satanica is the fourth studio album released in 1999 by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. Much of the music in this release is death metal with influences of black metal music, also commonly known as blackened death metal. It was recorded at the Starcraft Stimulation Studios and mastered in Warsaw, Poland in 1999.

Jerome Froese is a German musician who, in 1990, officially joined his father Edgar Froese in the band Tangerine Dream. He remained a member until 2006. Prior to his direct involvement in Tangerine Dream, Froese often appeared on the covers of the band's albums as a child, beginning with the 1973 release of Atem, when he was two years four months old at the time the album was released.

Marcin "Novy" Nowak - Polish musician, composer, the author of texts, vocalist and instrumentalist. Marcin Nowak is known primarily as a bass guitarist, popularity brought him performances in Behemoth and Vader, as well as Devilyn and Dies Irae, in which he also served as a vocalist and the author of the texts. Nowak also cooperated with such music groups as: Nader Sadek, Spinal Cord, Against the Plagues, Condemnation, Thy Disease, Crucified Mortals; and musicians of the metal scene including Derek Roddy, Steve Tucker, Run (Mayhem), Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy), Glen Benton (Deicide), Jack Owen, Richie Brown. Bewitching the Pomerania is the second EP by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. It was released in 1997 by Solistitium Records. It was recorded at P.J. Studios in February 1997 and mastered at Vox Mortiis Studio. The EP is the first release of the band to feature Zbigniew Robert "Inferno" Promiński on drums. Bewitching the Pomerania also marks the band's passage from black metal music to a style more similar to death metal. All three tracks were included on the 2005 re-release of Behemoth's debut EP, And the Forests Dream Eternally.

Antichristian Phenomenon is the third EP by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. The first five tracks were recorded in July and August 2000 at the Hendrix Studios in Poland during the Thelema.6 studio session. "Day of Suffering" was recorded in November 2000, also in the Hendrix Studios. "Carnage" was recorded in April 1999 at the Starcraft Stimulation Studios.

Resurrection is the fourth studio album by Chimaira, released on March 6, 2007. Debuting at number 42 on the Billboard 200 charts, Resurrection shipped about 16,000 copies sold in its first week. The album was released in two forms: a regular version, and a limited edition version with different cover artwork and a DVD documentary of the making of the album. Chimaira's first album with Ferret Music since leaving Roadrunner Records, Resurrection features original drummer Andols Herrick who rejoined the group shortly before the writing process. At the Arena ov Aion – Live Apostasy is the first live album by the Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. It was released on 31 October 2008 through Regain Records. The album was recorded live at La Loco in Paris, France, on 17 February 2008 during the European Apostasy tour. The record was then mixed and edited in the Antfarm Studio, Denmark in June 2008. Additional editing took place in the Soundsgreat Studio in Poland during April and May 2008. The record was then mastered at the Cutting Room Studios in Stockholm, Sweden, in July 2008.

Ezkaton is the sixth EP by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. It was released in North America through Metal Blade Records on 11 November 2008, and in Europe through Regain Records on 20 November 2008. The EP features seven tracks, including one new song titled "Qadosh", a live recording and new studio version to "Chant for Ezkaton 2000 e.v.", live versions of "From the Pagan Vastlands" and "Decade ov Therion", along with covers of Master's Hammer's "Jáma pekel" and Ramones' "I'm Not Jesus".
