Smethwick Old Church is an Anglican parish church, located in the town of Smethwick, West Midlands. It is located on the junction of The Uplands and Church Road, adjacent to the Dorothy Parkes Community Centre and the 18th-century Old Chapel Public House.
The Old Church is the oldest surviving building in Smethwick, consecrated in 1732 as a chapel of ease to St Peter's in Harborne. It was originally known as 'Parkes' or 'Smethwick' Chapel, the name Parkes came from the wealthy local woman Dorothy Parkes who bequeathed the money to build the church. It became known as the Old Church in 1837, when the Holy Trinity Church was built on Smethwick High Street. [1] [2]
The public house next to the church gains its name from the church, and is the second oldest building still standing in Smethwick. The archives of Smethwick Old Church are held at Sandwell Community History and Archives Service.
Mission Santa Cruz is a Spanish Californian mission. Located on Mission Hill, it was founded on August 28, 1791, by Father Fermín Francisco de Lasuén, the successor of Father Junipero Serra. The mission was dedicated that same year. The present mission chapel building is a replica located near the original site, on which Holy Cross Church now stands.

Old San Juan is the oldest settlement within Puerto Rico and the historic colonial district of the city of San Juan. Historically the mixed-use commercial and residential real estate in the main streets of Calle Cristo and Calle Fortaleza from Calle Tanca to the Governor’s Mansion is the most valuable in the area and it has kept its value and increased steadily through several years despite the past economic turmoils.

Bearwood is the southern part of Smethwick, in the metropolitan borough of Sandwell, West Midlands, England. It lies north of the A456 Hagley Road. Bearwood Hill was the original name of the High Street from Smethwick Council House to Windmill Lane. The border at the Shireland Brook where Portland Road, Edgbaston becomes Shireland Road, Smethwick is signed "Bearwood" as of February 2014.

The Church of the Holy Ascension, also known as the Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, is a prominent landmark in Unalaska, the major community of the western Aleutian Islands in southwestern Alaska. The current church was built in 1894, probably on the site of an 1826 church, and likely using timbers and other elements from the older church. It is one of the oldest churches in Alaska, and is significant as the site from which missionaries brought their religion to the local Aleut people. This evangelization effort was so successful that today's Aleut population is still strongly Orthodox. The church was declared a National Historic Landmark for its architecture, and for its role in the history and culture of Alaska. It is the second cathedral church of the Orthodox Church in America Diocese of Alaska, after St. Michael's Cathedral in Sitka.
