Solapur Railway Division is one of the divisions of Central Railway Zone (India) of Indian Railways.It is the largest division in Central Railway covering 10 districts of Maharashtra, Karnataka & Telangana. Option of Ahmednagar Karmala railway line is also getting explored. [1]

Hadapsar railway station is located in Hadapsar, a suburb of Pune in Maharashtra. There are plans to start long-distance trains from this station as there is no space for new trains at Pune Junction. There is also plan to start suburban trains on Pune–Daund section. This station will be a major station for Pune–Daund suburban trains.

Miraj Junction railway station is an important railway station in the city of Miraj, Maharashtra. The Pune – Yeshwantpur railway line passes through Miraj where it meets the Miraj – Kolhapur branch line. The Miraj - Nagpur section starts at Miraj and passes through towns such as Pandharpur, Kurduvadi, Barshi, Latur, Parli Vaijnath and Osmanabad.
