Solarized is the fourth solo album released by Ian Brown, the former lead singer of the Stone Roses. The album was first released in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2004.
The album was the first album release on the revived Polydor imprint Fiction Records.
Canadian and Australian releases did not feature "Happy Ever After". The North American edition of Solarized contains an exclusive U.S. bonus track called "Lovebug".
The song "Happy Ever After" was used in an episode of Top Gear during the review of the 2007 Jaguar XK. It has also been used in the series Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and for the adverts of Law & Order: UK .
Unlike his previous, and subsequent albums, Solarized was not originally released on vinyl, but in April 2016, it was finally released on a limited run of 2000 vinyl copies as part of Record Store Day. [5]
The Stone Roses were an English rock band formed in Manchester, England in 1983. They were one of the pioneering groups of the Madchester movement in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Ian George Brown is an English musician. He was the lead singer and the only continuous member of the alternative rock band the Stone Roses from their formation in 1983. Following the band's initial split in 1996, he began a solo career, releasing seven studio albums, a greatest hits compilation, a remix album, an 11-disc box set titled Collection, and 19 singles. He returned to singing for the Stone Roses in 2011, although this did not spell the end of his solo endeavours, releasing First World Problems through Virgin/EMI Records on 25 October 2018.
(What's the Story) Morning Glory? is the second studio album by the English rock band Oasis. Released on 2 October 1995 by Creation Records, it was produced by Owen Morris and the group's lead guitarist and chief songwriter Noel Gallagher. The structure and arrangement style of the album was a significant departure from the band's previous album, Definitely Maybe (1994). Gallagher's compositions were more focused in balladry and placed more emphasis on "huge" choruses, with the string arrangements and more varied instrumentation contrasting with the rawness of the group's debut album. Morning Glory was the group's first album with drummer Alan White, who replaced Tony McCarroll.
Be Here Now is the third studio album by the English rock band Oasis, released on 21 August 1997 by Creation Records. The album was recorded at multiple recording studios in London, including Abbey Road Studios, as well as Ridge Farm Studio in Surrey. Although most tracks retain the anthemic quality of previous releases, the songs on Be Here Now are longer and contain many guitar overdubs. Noel Gallagher said this was done to make the album sound as "colossal" as possible. The album cover features a shot of the band members at Stocks House in Hertfordshire. It is the last Oasis studio album to feature founding members guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs and bassist Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan as the two left in 1999.
Familiar to Millions is a live album by English rock band Oasis. It was released on 13 November 2000 by Big Brother Recordings. The album was recorded at Wembley Stadium on 21 July 2000. It debuted at No. 5 in the UK charts with 57,000 copies sold in the first week. To date Familiar to Millions has sold around 310,000 copies in Britain alone (Platinum), about 70,000 copies in the United States and an estimated 1 million copies worldwide. The album was initially released simultaneously on six formats: DVD, VHS, double CD, double cassette, triple vinyl, and double MiniDisc.

"Fools Gold" is a song by British rock band the Stone Roses. It was released as a double A-side single with "What the World Is Waiting For" on 13 November 1989 through Silvertone Records. "Fools Gold" would go on to appear on certain non-UK versions of their self-titled debut studio album (1989). "Fools Gold" became the band's biggest commercial hit at the time. It was their first single to reach the top ten of the UK Singles Chart and stayed in the top-75 for fourteen weeks, peaking at number eight.

"Supersonic" is a song by English rock band Oasis, released as their debut single on 11 April 1994, and later appeared on their debut studio album, Definitely Maybe (1994). It was produced by the band and Mark Coyle, their live sound engineer. The single was accompanied by two music videos, one directed by Mark Szaszy and the other by Nick Egan.

Dig Out Your Soul is the seventh studio album by English rock band Oasis, and the last before their 15-year breakup from August 2009 to August 2024. It was released on 6 October 2008 by Big Brother Recordings. The album was recorded between August and December 2007 at Abbey Road Studios in London, and mixed in January and March 2008 at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles. Production was handled by Dave Sardy who had previously produced much of the group's sixth studio album, Don't Believe the Truth (2005). Lead guitarist Noel Gallagher wrote a majority of the songs, while three were written by Liam Gallagher as well as one contribution each from Gem Archer and Andy Bell.
"Be There" is a song by British electronic group Unkle. It was produced by member DJ Shadow and written by him along with British musician Ian Brown, who is also featured on the song on vocals. The song is featured on 1999 bonus tracks editions of Psyence Fiction, and was released as the second single from the album. The track is, essentially, a vocal version of the instrumental track "Unreal" from Psyence Fiction.

Written and sung by lead guitarist Noel Gallagher, it was released on 9 March 2009 as the third single from the album with the digital release occurring a day earlier. It was the final single released by the band before their break-up just over five months later in August 2009. It would remain the last new release from the band for more than eleven years until April 2020 with the release of the promotional single "Don't Stop...".
Sonik Kicks is the eleventh studio album from Paul Weller, an English singer-songwriter and former member of The Jam; it was released on 19 March 2012. The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart beating David Guetta's Nothing But the Beat to the top spot by just 250 copies.
Chasing Yesterday is the second studio album by English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Written and produced by frontman Noel Gallagher, the album was recorded from 2012 to 2014 at Strangeways and Abbey Road Studios in London. It was released on 2 March 2015 by Gallagher's record label Sour Mash Records, preceded by the singles "In the Heat of the Moment" and "Ballad of the Mighty I". Chasing Yesterday topped the UK Albums Chart in its first week of release.
