Sonnalli A Sajnani (born 1 May 1989) [1] [2] is an Indian actress and beauty pageant titleholder who represented India at Miss International 2006 and placed Top 12. her first film was 2011's Pyaar Ka Punchnama , directed by Luv Ranjan. She played Rhea opposite Raayo S Bakhirta playing Vikrant Chaudhary. Sonnalli was also seen in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Wedding Pullav , both releasing on the same day (16 October). [3] She was recently seen in an advertisement with Salman Khan for Thums Up.

She was a ramp model before she decided to try her luck at the Miss India Worldwide competition. [4] She has featured in music videos for Prem, a Canadian singer (Times) and Dr. Zeus (Studio One). Having done anchoring at live events for Reebok, Castrol, Indiatimes, Filmfare, Times of India and Dadagiri (reality show), she has also performed at the Indian Embassy in Russia. [5]

Sonnalli also played lead role in Jai Mummy Di , a romantic comedy starring Sunny Singh, Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dillon, directed by Navjot Gulati. The film was released on 17 January 2020. [6]

In June 2023, She got married with restaurateur Ashesh L Sajnani. [7] [8]

Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy buddy film written and directed by newbie Luv Ranjan. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Divyendu Sharma, Raayo S. Bakhirta, Nushrat Bharucha, Sonnalli Seygall and Ishita Raj Sharma and follows the story of three working bachelors who find girls whom they fall in love with and the twists and turns of the newly developing love stories. It was a sleeper hit at the box office, grossing 175 million (US$2.2 million) worldwide. A standalone sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 was released on 16 October 2015. It was remade in Telugu as Green Signal.

Jai Mummy Di is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by debutant Navjot Gulati starring Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall. The film also features actors Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon. It was produced by Luv Films and distributed by T-Series. The film tells the story of conflicting dynamics between mothers of protagonists and how that is affecting them and other members of both the families. The film was theatrically released in India on 17 January 2020.
