Soraya is the eponymous fourth bilingual studio album by Colombian-American singer-songwriter Soraya, released on May 6, 2003, by EMI Music. The album won the Best Singer-Songwriter Album at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards. [3] [4]

Inocente de Ti is the 26th studio album recorded by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel. It was released by BMG U.S. Latin Latin on October 21, 2003. It was also the theme song for a Mexican telenovela Inocente de Tí (2004-2005), produced by Nathalie Lartilleux, Camila Sodi and Valentino Lanús, starred as protagonists, while Helena Rojo and Carolina Tejera starred as antagonists. Lupita Ferrer and Ricardo Blume starred as stellar performances. The song Yo Te Recuerdo was used as the theme song of the telenovela Mariana de la Noche (2003-2004), produced by Salvador Mejía, but with a different musical arrangement. Alejandra Barros and Jorge Salinas starred as protagonists, while César Évora and Angélica Rivera, starred as antagonists. The album received a nomination Latin Grammy Award for Best Singer-Songwriter Album in 5th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, losing yo Soraya by Soraya.

"Hasta Que Te Conocí" is a song by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel. It was released in 1986 as the third single from his studio album Pensamientos. Written and produced by Gabriel, the song's lyrics focus on a protagonist learning the meaning of suffering after meeting a lover who mistreats him. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Latin Song chart. A live version of the song was included on his album En el Palacio de Bellas Artes (1990) which peaked at number ten on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

Ilona is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Her beginnings in music were through presentations on the public transport bus service in Bogotá when she was 15 years old, and her surprised audience gave her money. Ilona played with her guitar on public places and eventually established a band with a bassist and a drummer with whom she performed regularly in bars in the city. At 24, Ilona released her first studio album, entitled Desde Mi Ventana, produced by Cachorro López, gaining momentum, and receiving a Latin Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist. Her debut album sold 15,000 units in Colombia earning the singer a Gold album certification. Ilona caught the attention of Argentine musician León Gieco and agreed to do a duet with her on the song "En La Zona". English boy band Blue also recorded with Ilona the song "One Love".

"Hasta la Raíz" is a song by Mexican recording artist Natalia Lafourcade, the first track on her 2015 studio album of the same name. It was released as the album's lead single on January 6, 2015, through Sony Music Mexico. After attaining success from her previous album, Mujer Divina – Homenaje a Agustín Lara, a tribute to Mexican singer-songwriter Agustín Lara, Lafourcade decided to record an album with original recordings. Lafourcade spent three years writing, searching for inspiration in different cities, resulting in songs with personal feelings regarding love. On the 5 of July 2000, just 3 weeks after the release, Soraya was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer, and she had to put her career on hold, in order to recuperate.

"Casi" is a song by Colombian-American latin pop singer-songwriter Soraya. The song was released as the lead single from her fourth studio album Soraya (2003). The song was Soraya's first commercial single after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000. After the announcement, Soraya took a hiatus between 2000 and 2003 to recover from her illness. The song was written, produced and recorded by Soraya. An English-language version called "Almost" was released in the English/international edition of the album.
