En Esta Noche (On Nights Like This in non-Spanish-speaking territories) is the debut bilingual studio album by Colombian-American singer-songwriter Soraya,released on February 6,1996 by Island Records. All the songs on the album except "Pueblito Viejo" are original and were fully or partly composed by Soraya.
Soraya recorded this album over the course of two years in Abbey Road Studios in London. [2] The album is a fusion of many different genres and cultures from Colombia and world music.

Pies Descalzos is the third studio album by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, released on 6 October 1995, by Sony Music Colombia. Its music incorporates Latin pop styles, additionally experimenting with pop rock elements. Looking to revive her struggling career after the commercial failures of her first two studio efforts Magia and Peligro, she assumed a prominent position in its production. As executive producer, Luis Fernando Ochoa co-wrote and co-produced each of the eleven tracks on the record with Shakira.
Vuelve is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin. Sony Discos and Columbia Records released it on February 12, 1998. Martin worked with producers KC Porter, Robi Draco Rosa, and Desmond Child to create the album. Following the worldwide success of the song "María" from his previous album, A Medio Vivir (1995), Martin returned to the studio and began recording material while on tour. Vuelve is a Latin record with Latin dance numbers and pop ballads. "María" caught the attention of FIFA, who asked Martin to write an anthem for the 1998 FIFA World Cup being held in France. Martin subsequently recorded "La Copa de la Vida", composed by Porter, Rosa, and Desmond Child for the World Cup.

Sidestepper is a Colombian band formed in 1996 by English DJ/producer Richard Blair. Several of their albums were co-written and co-produced with Colombian singer-songwriter and producer Iván Benavides, including their influential 2003 album 3AM . The group is one of the originators of the Colombian "electro cumbia" sound, influenced both by Afro-Colombian popular music styles like salsa and cumbia as well as electronic dance music such as drum and bass and dub. Over the years Sidestepper has included a number of vocalists and musicians who have since become well-known artists in their own right in Colombia, such as Gloria "Goyo" Martínez of ChocQuibTown, drummer Kike Egurrola, and Humberto Pernett. Since 2000 they have played all over the world, including festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde and Womad.
El Tiempo es Oro is the third studio album by Mexican pop singer Paulina Rubio, released simultaneously on 21 March 1995 by EMI Mexico in 18 countries. It was recorded in the autumn and winter of 1994 in Madrid, Spain, and Miami, Florida. The album was produced by Miguel Blasco as with her previous studio albums, but included new producers and collaborations including Marco Flores, Adrián Posse and Claudio Bermúdez. Sale el Sol is the ninth studio album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, released on 19 October 2010, by Epic Records. The album marks a return to Shakira's signature Latin pop sound after the electropop record She Wolf (2009). The singer split the album into three musical "directions": a romantic side, a "rock and roll" side, and a "Latino, tropical" side. "Despedida" is a song recorded by Colombian singer Shakira for the extended play (EP) and soundtrack Love in the Time of Cholera (2008). The song was written by her and Pedro Aznar originally for the Mike Newell-directed 2007 movie adaptation of Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez's 1985 novel Love in the Time of Cholera. Antonio Pinto handled its composition and production. Shakira was initially offered a role by the producers of the movie to take part as the main protagonist. However, she refused the offer and accepted to collaborate with the musical team due to her friendship with García Márquez. Musically, "Despedida" is a folk song which discusses nostalgic love sentiments towards a person the protagonist lost.
