Sounds from the Void is the fifth extended play (EP) by English rock band Creeper. Produced by the band's guitarist Ian Miles, the collection of acoustic cover versions was initially released in the form of two individual songs during the summer of 2020, before the full three-track EP was issued on streaming platforms on 14 May 2021.
Creeper first announced Sounds from the Void on 14 May 2020, at the same time as their second album Sex, Death & the Infinite Void was delayed to July that year. [1] The first track of the series, a cover of King Dude's "Spiders in Her Hair" performed by vocalist Will Gould and guitarist Ian Miles, followed the next day. [2] On 9 July, a cover of Neil Young and Crazy Horse's "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" followed, which Gould revealed had been the inspiration for the band's early song "Into the Black", featured on their 2014 self-titled debut EP. [3] The EP was released on streaming platforms on 14 May 2021 with an added cover of the Ramones track Pet Sematary. [4]

Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the East Coast. The band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Anthrax sold 2.5 million records in the United States from 1991 to 2004, with worldwide sales of 10 million. Four of the band's studio albums have also achieved gold certifications by the RIAA, including their third full-length record Among the Living (1987), which cemented Anthrax's reputation as one of the most successful thrash metal bands.
Ramones is the debut studio album by American punk rock band Ramones, released on April 23, 1976 by Sire Records. After Hit Parader editor Lisa Robinson saw the band at a gig in New York City, she wrote about them in an article and contacted Danny Fields, insisting that he be their manager. Fields agreed and convinced Craig Leon to produce Ramones, and the band recorded a demo for prospective record labels. Leon persuaded Sire president Seymour Stein to listen to the band perform, and he later offered the band a recording contract. The Ramones began recording in January 1976, needing only seven days and $6,400 to record the album. They used similar sound-output techniques to those of the Beatles and used advanced production methods by Leon.
Crazy Horse is an American rock band best known for their association with Neil Young. Beginning in 1969 and continuing to the present day, they have been co-credited on a number of Young's albums, with 12 studio albums and numerous live albums being billed as by Neil Young and Crazy Horse. They have also released six studio albums of their own, issued between 1971 and 2009.

Creeper are an English rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing a follow-up, The Callous Heart, the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official member of the band. A third EP, The Stranger, was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten.

Death Letter contains songs from their entire discography reworked for acoustic guitar. Of the six songs on the EP, 4 are from their last full-length album, Old Crows/Young Cardinals. Miss Vincent is an English punk rock band formed in Southampton, Hampshire, England in 2012. The band currently features original frontman Alex Marshall and lead guitarist Lawrie Pattison, as well as bass player Owain Mainwaring and drummer Nate Davenport. All four members contribute to their two- and three-part harmony vocals, a trademark of the band's sound. In August 2020, the band signed to Silent Cult Records, having previously been signed to Uncle M Records and Engineer Records.
Christmas is the fourth EP by English rock band Creeper. Released on 8 December 2017 by Roadrunner Records, it features cover versions of two popular Christmas songs – "Fairytale of New York", originally recorded by The Pogues, and "Blue Christmas", most famously recorded by Elvis Presley – as well as an original track called "Same Time Next Year?". The EP was preceded by the release of "Fairytale of New York" as a single on 1 December 2017.
Our Time Down Here was an English punk rock band from Southampton, England, formed in 2006. Their song "Black Ice & Bad Advice" from the album Midnight Mass gained radio play on BBC Radio. NME said, in reference to the band's debut album, "if there's a finer UK hardcore album released this year then I'd really, really really like to hear it". Vice Media referred to them as "UK punk's best-kept secret". Funeral for a Friend lead vocalist Matthew Davies-Kreye and Natives member Jack Fairbrother were outspoken supporters of the band. After the band's separation in 2013, Gould and Miles went on to form Creeper.

Written by the band's lead vocalist Will Gould, lead guitarist Ian Miles and record producer Neil Kennedy, it was recorded at Wax Ltd Studios in Hollywood, California and produced by Xandy Barry. The song is the third track on the band's second studio album Sex, Death & the Infinite Void and was released as the first single from the album on 3 November 2019.
Sex, Death & the Infinite Void is the second studio album by English rock band Creeper released on 31 July 2020 by Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by Wax Ltd's Xandy Barry and was inspired by their experiences touring the United States with Waterparks.
