Southern California Street Music is Voodoo Glow Skulls' eighth album, released on September 18, 2007, on Victory Records (VR 348).

Unlike most of the band's other albums, it doesn't contain any cover songs. All of its songs were written by Voodoo Glow Skulls.

Ska punk is a fusion genre that mixes ska music and punk rock music together. Ska-core is a subgenre of ska punk that mixes ska with hardcore punk. Voodoo Glow Skulls first played at backyard parties and later at Spanky's Café in their hometown of Riverside, where they played shows with the Angry Samoans, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Firehose, Murphy's Law, and The Dickies.

Marc Moreland was an American rock musician. He was the former guitarist for new wave band Wall of Voodoo, punk band The Skulls, and rock bands Pretty and Twisted and Department of Crooks. He also released a solo album under the name Marc Moreland Mess.

Efrem Schulz American singer

Efrem "The Bean" Schulz is an American of Mexican descent singer, best known for his work with Death By Stereo. As of Paul Miner's departure in 2005, he is the only remaining original member of the band. He also took over as lead singer of Voodoo Glow Skulls following the departure of "Frank Voodoo" Casillas, and is the frontman for the Chicano-themed punk parody band Manic Hispanic.

Los Kung Fu Monkeys are a ska punk band based out of Canada and Mexico. They were formed in 1997.
