Ignition is the second studio album by American punk rock band the Offspring, released on October 16, 1992, by Epitaph Records. Issued during the alternative rock and grunge era, the album brought the band small success in Southern California as they started to gather a following. This success would continue to grow with their next album, Smash (1994). It is the first and only album to include photos of each band member in the liner notes.
Ska punk is a fusion genre that mixes ska music and punk rock music together. Ska-core is a subgenre of ska punk that mixes ska with hardcore punk. Early ska punk mixed both 2 Tone and ska with hardcore punk. Ska punk tends to feature brass instruments, especially horns such as trumpets, trombones and woodwind instruments like saxophones, making the genre distinct from other forms of punk rock. It is closely tied to third wave ska which reached its zenith in the mid 1990s.
Punk-O-Rama was the title given to a series of ten compilation albums published by Epitaph Records. The first volume was released in 1994, the second in 1996, and the rest annually from 1998 to 2005. The albums included artists from Epitaph's roster as well as from its subsidiary label ANTI- and its partnership labels Hellcat Records and Burning Heart Records. In total the series included 257 songs contributed by 88 different artists.
Voodoo Glow Skulls are an American ska punk band formed in 1988 in Riverside, California, United States, by brothers Frank, Eddie, and Jorge Casillas and their longtime friend Jerry O'Neill. Voodoo Glow Skulls first played at backyard parties and later at Spanky's Café in their hometown of Riverside, where they played shows with the Angry Samoans, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Firehose, Murphy's Law, and The Dickies.
"Da Strike" is a song by the Swedish punk rock band Millencolin from the album Tiny Tunes. It was released as a single on December 16, 1994 by Burning Heart Records, including two b-sides from the album's recording sessions, "Softworld" and "Niap", along with a live recording of "Shake Me". "Niap" is a re-recording of the song "Pain" from the band's first EP Use Your Nose. "Softworld" reappeared on the band's next album Life on a Plate, while "Niap" and the live version of "Shake Me" were re-released in 1999 on the compilation album The Melancholy Collection. An accompanying music video for "Da Strike" was also filmed and released. "Da Strike" also appeared in the game ESPN X Games Pro Boarder for the PS1.
Hickey was an American melodic punk band from San Francisco's Mission District, California, United States. The band often recorded, released and distributed their own music. Elaborate and very personal artwork was the style used for the band's records, and they were well known for their raucous and sometimes antagonizing live performances.
Efrem "The Bean" Schulz is an American of Mexican descent singer, best known for his work with Death By Stereo. As of Paul Miner's departure in 2005, he is the only remaining original member of the band. He also took over as lead singer of Voodoo Glow Skulls following the departure of "Frank Voodoo" Casillas, and is the frontman for the Chicano-themed punk parody band Manic Hispanic.
Baile de Los Locos is Voodoo Glow Skulls' third full-length album. It was released on May 5, 1997. The album has 25 tracks; tracks 13–24 are left blank; track 25 is a cover of the Christmas song "Feliz Navidad". The title translates as "Dance of the Crazy People".
Symbolic is the Voodoo Glow Skulls' fifth full-length album. It was released on September 12, 2000 on Epitaph Records. This album marks the band’s last release on the label. Track 8 “El Mas Chingon” featuring a guitar solo by Reverend Horton Heat. Track 14 is a cover of the song "I Shot the Sheriff" from Eric Clapton. The song "Say Goodnight" appears on punk compilation album Punk-O-Rama 6.
In Search Of... is the third studio album by Fu Manchu, a stoner rock band from Southern California. It was released in 1996 on Mammoth Records. This was the last album with Ruben Romano and Eddie Glass. Shortly after its release, they left to form the band Nebula.

It was the first release for the label, which was founded by Dexter Holland of The Offspring.
