Space Group is an architecture office established in 1999 in Oslo, Norway and created by Gary Bates and Gro Bonesmo. Prior to founding Space Group, they worked with OMA/Rem Koolhaas, which they later on collaborated for the Vestbanen project in Oslo.

Contents

The firm is also known for leading large master plan development and research. One of their current involvements is for the project "8 million city"/Station City, connecting Oslo to Copenhagen by train. [1] They were the curators of the Nordic Pavilion at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale in 2014.

Petter Anker Stordalen is a Norwegian billionaire businessman, hotel and property developer and self-proclaimed environmentalist. He has an estimated net worth of US$1.3 billion stemming from investments in hotels, shopping centers and property. Stordalen owns Strawberry, a corporate group consisting of ten companies in real estate, finance, hotels and art. Through Strawberry Hospitality Group, Stordalen owns Nordic Choice Hotels, consisting of over 200 hotels and employing 17,000 people. In the later stages of his career, Stordalen has pursued a number of philanthropic endeavors together with his ex-wife, doctor and environmentalist Gunhild Anker Stordalen, donating large amounts of money to various charitable organizations within environment/climate change and scientific research programs through the Stordalen Foundation, established in 2011. From October 2019 co-owner of SunClass Airlines.

Kjetil Trædal Thorsen is a Norwegian architect. In 1987, he co-founded the architecture firm Snøhetta.

Sami Rintala

Sami Rintala is a Finnish architect and artist. He studied architecture at Helsinki University of Technology, completing his studies in 1999. Rintala’s own work is based on narrative and conceptualism. The resulting work is a layered interpretation of the physical, mental and poetic resources of the site.

Elmgreen & Dragset

Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset have worked together as an artist duo since 1995. Their work explores the relationship between art, architecture and design.

Galleri Rom is an architectural gallery in Oslo, Norway. The "room" for art and architecture is an independent center operated by private owners with support from the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Culture, and is located at Maridalsveien 3.

Camille Norment

Camille Norment is an Oslo-based multimedia artist who works with sound, installation, sculpture, drawing, performance and video. Norment also works as a musician and composer. She performs with Vegar Vårdal and Håvard Skaset in the Camille Norment Trio.

Ingrid Lønningdal is a Norwegian artist. She was raised in Lier and lives and works in Oslo.

Siri Aurdal Norwegian painter

Siri Aurdal is a Norwegian painter, graphic designer, and sculptor. She comes from an artistic family with parents textile artist Synnøve Anker Aurdal and painter Leon Aurdal. Ludvig Eikaas was her stepfather from 1959.
