Clint Patrick Black is an American country music singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. Signed to RCA Nashville in 1989, Black's debut album Killin' Time produced four straight number one singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Although his momentum gradually slowed throughout the 1990s, Black consistently charted hit songs into the 2000s. He has had more than 30 singles on the US Billboard country charts, twenty-two of which have reached number one, in addition to having released twelve studio albums and several compilation albums. In 2003, Black founded his own record label, Equity Music Group. Black has also ventured into acting, having made appearances in a 1993 episode of the TV series Wings and in the 1994 film Maverick, as well as a starring role in 1998's Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.

Brooks & Dunn are an American country music duo consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, both of whom are vocalists and songwriters. The duo was founded in 1990 through the suggestion of Tim DuBois. Before their formation, both members were solo recording artists. Both members charted two solo singles apiece in the 1980s, with Brooks also releasing an album for Capitol Records in 1989 and writing hit singles for other artists.
Craig Morgan Greer is an American country music artist. A veteran of the United States Army as a forward observer, Morgan began his musical career in 2000 on Atlantic Records, releasing his self-titled debut album for that label before the closure of its Nashville division in 2000. In 2002, Morgan signed to the independent Broken Bow Records, on which he released three studio albums: 2003's I Love It, 2005's My Kind of Livin', and 2006's Little Bit of Life. These produced several chart hits, including "That's What I Love About Sunday", which spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard country charts while also holding the No. 1 position on that year's Billboard Year-End chart for the country format. A greatest hits package followed in mid-2008 before Morgan signed to BNA Records and released That's Why later that same year. After exiting BNA, Morgan signed with Black River Entertainment and released This Ole Boy in 2012, followed by A Whole Lot More to Me in 2016.

Its title track became her second number-one hit on the Hot Country Songs chart. The album also spawned the hits "I Could Not Ask for More", "Saints & Angels", and "I Keep Looking". It is the best-selling album of Evans' career, having been certified 2× platinum in the United States. In August 2003, she released the pop-inspired Restless, whose lead single "Perfect" reached the Top 5. Restless was certified platinum in the United States shortly after the success of its third single "Suds in the Bucket", which became Evans' third number one hit.
Carolina Rain was an American country music group composed of Jeremy Baxter, Rhean Boyer, and Marvin Evatt. Founded in 2003, the band was signed in 2004 as the first act on Equity Music Group, an independent record label owned by country music artist Clint Black. Carolina Rain has released one studio album and has charted five singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Two more singles were released in 2008 before Equity closed. In April 2019, Marvin Evatt released his debut EP titled Songs from the Boat
Put Yourself in My Shoes is the second studio album by American country music singer-songwriter Clint Black, released on November 27, 1990. As with Black's debut album Killin' Time, the album is currently certified triple platinum by the RIAA. All four singles from the album produced huge hits for Black on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts: "Loving Blind" and "Where Are You Now" both at Number One; the title track at #4; and "One More Payment" at #7. "This Nightlife" also charted at #61 from unsolicited airplay.

Suffer Time is a studio album by American country music artist Dottie West. It was released in July 1966 on RCA Victor Records and was produced by Chet Atkins. It was West's third studio album as a music artist and was her first concept album in her career. The record's concept focused on themes related to heartbreak and lost love. It included new compositions and cover versions of other recordings. These recordings included four singles, including the top ten hit "Would You Hold It Against Me". Suffer Time would become one of West's most successful and highest-selling albums in her career.
