Killin' Time is the debut studio album by American country music singer-songwriter Clint Black. It was released on May 2, 1989, by RCA Nashville. The album, buoyed by the chart-topping success of its first four singles, was a huge hit upon its release, and established Black as one of the biggest new stars in country music. The album is currently certified triple platinum by the RIAA.
Wynonna Ellen Judd or simply Wynonna is an American country music singer. She is one of the most widely recognized and awarded female country singers. In all, she has had 19 No. 1 singles, including those of The Judds, making her one of the best-selling country artists of all time. Her solo albums and singles are all credited to the single name Wynonna. She first rose to fame in the 1980s alongside her mother, Naomi, in the country music duo The Judds. They released seven albums on Curb Records in addition to 26 singles, of which fourteen were No. 1 hits.

"I Love You" was originally recorded by Celine Dion for her album, Falling into You. The album was released on April 21, 1998 and was certified six-times Platinum by the RIAA for shipments of over six million copies in the United States.
High Mileage is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Alan Jackson. It was released on September 1, 1998 and produced four hit singles on the Hot Country Songs charts for Jackson: "I'll Go on Loving You" (#3), "Right on the Money" (#1), "Gone Crazy" (#4) and "Little Man" (#3). Upon its release in late 1998, "I'll Go on Loving You" became the highest-debuting single of Jackson's career at the time, entering the country charts at #35.

It is also the second collection of the duo's most popular releases, chronicling their greatest hits from 1998's If You See Her, 2001's Steers & Stripes, and 2003's Red Dirt Road, omitting songs from 1999's Tight Rope. It also features one song from 1994's Waitin' on Sundown and one song from 1996's Borderline, both of which did not make it to the first compilation. Three new recorded tracks — "That's What It's All About", "It's Getting Better All The Time", and "Independent Trucker" — are also included on this compilation. These first two songs were released as singles, peaking at #2 and #1, respectively, on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The CD version is currently out of print; however, it is available from digital and streaming services.

Maybe Not Tonight is the sixth studio album that was released by American country music artist Sammy Kershaw. It was released in 1999 on Mercury Records. The first album of his career not to achieve an RIAA certification, it also failed to produce any Top Ten country hits. The lead-off single, which was the title track duet with Lorrie Morgan reached #17 on the country charts. This song was concurrently promoted by Mercury and BNA Records, Morgan's label. Following it were "When You Love Someone" at #37 and "Me and Maxine" at #35. "Louisiana Hot Sauce", the fourth and final track, failed to chart. Also included is a cover of Bobby Vee's "More Than I Can Say", which water later a #2 pop hit for Leo Sayer in 1980. In addition, "How Much Does the World Weigh" was later recorded by Tracy Byrd on his 2001 album Ten Rounds. Maybe Not Tonight was also Kershaw's last studio album for Mercury. After it was released, Mercury issued an album of cover songs and a second greatest hits compilation before he exited the label.

The seven-song EP was released on August 14, 2020, as his second EP with the Sony Music Nashville label, with the first Sony EP being Chapter 1. He had earlier released an independent EP on his own label, titled Closer.
