Sphingomonas lacus is a Gram-negative, aerobic and motile bacteria from the genus of Sphingomonas which has been isolated from soil near a pond in Daejeon in Korea. [1] [2] [3] Sphingomonas lacus produces astaxanthin-dideoxyglycoside. [3]
