Spider-Gwen: Smash is a four-issue American comic book series written by Melissa Flores and drawn by Enid Balam, and published by Marvel Comics. It is the fourth miniseries starring Spider-Gwen Stacy, following Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse and Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones , and a stand-alone sequel to Spider-Gwen (2015–2018). The story revolves around the public-identity superhero Spider-Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman as she returns to Earth-65 (following her blackmail-induced banishment from the planet) to join the rest of her rock band the Mary Janes as they embark on a four-city tour as the opening act to one of Earth-65's biggest rock bands, Gwen promising the band that their big break will be all about the music: no web-slinging, just drums. Meanwhile, the band leader MJ Watson / Carnage struggles with her lesbian feelings for Gwen, her drummer, while being manipulated by Earth-65 supervillains Bruce Banner and Orlando Octavius.
