Silk: Threats and Menaces (originally known simply as Silk) is a five-issue comic book series written by Maurene Goo and drawn by Takeshi Miyazawa; originally set to be published in July 2020 as the first arc of a second ongoing series, its release was withheld to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ultimately releasing as a limited-run series, Silk's second limited series after The Amazing Spider-Man & Silk: The Spider(fly) Effect , and her first solo miniseries overall. Published by Marvel Comics, the story revolves around Cindy Moon as she becomes a reporter for the upstart new media empire Threats & Menaces under her old boss J. Jonah Jameson, while as the superhero Silk, investigating who is killing gangsters in Queens.

Publication history

A third Silk ongoing series was set to be published by Marvel Comics in July 2020 by writer Maurene Goo and artist Takeshi Miyazawa, [7] but it was withheld due to the then-ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and ultimately released from March to August 2021 as a five-issue limited series. [8] The series was collected with the subtitle Threats and Menaces.
