Srikanth Odela is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. [1] [2] [3] He made his directorial debut with the film Dasara , which emerged as a commercial success at the box office, grossing over ₹117.50 crore worldwide. [4] He won Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director - South for his directorial venture Dasara. [5]

Career

Srikanth Odela worked as an assistant director for the films Nannaku Prematho and Rangasthalam . [6] [7] He later directed his first feature, Dasara starring Nani. The film garnered critical acclaim and became a box office success, crossing the ₹100 crore mark and becoming the highest-grossing film in Nani's career. [8] [9]

In 2024, a second film project starring Nani titled Nani33 was announced. [10] [11] [12]

Personal life

Srikanth tied the knot on 31 May 2023 in a traditional ceremony held in his hometown of Godavarikhani. [13] [14]
