The St. Galler Elite Challenge is an annual tournament on the men's and women's World Curling Tour. It is held annually in January at Curling Center St. Gallen in St. Gallen, Switzerland. [1]
The purse for the event is CHF 7,000 for the men's event and CHF 6,600 for the women's event. Its event classification is 100. [1]
The event has been held since 2022. The 2023 event consisted of 27 teams from 10 countries. [2]
St. Gallen previously hosted the Euronics European Masters World Curling Tour event, last held in 2017.

The World Curling Tour (WCT) is a group of curling bonspiels featuring the best male, female, and mixed doubles curlers in the world.
The Grand Slam of Curling is a series of curling bonspiels that are a part of the annual World Curling Tour. Grand Slam events offer a purse of at least CAD$100,000, and feature the best teams from across Canada and around the World. The Grand Slam was instituted during the 2001–02 season for men and 2006–07 for women, but some of the Grand Slam events have longer histories as bonspiels.
The DeKalb Superspiel is a curling bonspiel that takes place at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Manitoba. It was an event on the World Curling Tour until 2019 and the Manitoba Curling Tour, and also takes part in the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS). There is a men's and women's event. The event began in 2009 and is annually held usually the third weekend in November but is subject to changes if the WCT or MCA has a conflicting bonspiel.
The EURONICS European Masters was an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Sports Center Lerchenfeld in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The tournament, held as the final event of the Curling Champions Tour, started in 2013. A women's event was added in 2015. It was last held in 2017. St. Gallen would not host a World Curling Tour event again until 2022 with the creation of the St. Galler Elite Challenge.
The Curve US Open of Curling is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Four Seasons Curling Club in Blaine, Minnesota. It was held as part of the men's World Curling Tour from 2014 to 2019 and as part of the women's WCT from 2016 to 2019, though women's teams were invited to participate in the 2014 event. The purse for the event is $8,000 USD on both the men's and women's sides.
