Stackin Chips is the debut studio album by American rap group 3X Krazy. It was released on April 8, 1997 through Noo Trybe Records. Production was handled by Tone Capone, One Drop Scott, Ali Malek, Ant Banks, Bosko, Lev Berlak, Mike Dean, N.O. Joe, and Spenc. It features guest appearances from Luniz, Harm, Mr. Spence, Christión, Cydal, E-40, Dru Down, Mike Marshall, Pleasure and Seagram. The album made it to No. 136 on the Billboard 200, No. 28 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 6 on the Top Heatseekers. One single, "Keep It on the Real," peaked at No. 19 on the Hot Rap Tracks, which was based on the 52nd Steet's 1985 song, "Tell Me How It Feels."

BlackGirl is an American pop/dance vocal trio consisting of Pam Copeland, Nycolia "Tye-V" Turman, and Rochelle Stuart from Atlanta, that formed in 1992 on the Kaper/RCA/BMG label.
No Limit Top Dogg is the fourth studio album and second on No Limit Records by American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released May 11, 1999, by No Limit Records and Priority Records. Following the mixed reception of his previous two albums, Snoop began to work again with Dr. Dre and returned to the west coast sound of his earlier career while on Death Row Records. The album was generally met with positive reception with many critics citing it as a return to form and his best album since Doggystyle (1993). Many praised the production work for the album with the tracks made by Dr. Dre being highlighted as well as Snoop's delivery while criticism was mainly aimed at the length of the album, the No Limit features, and the lack of new lyrical content. The Source would later put the album on their list of the Top 10 Best Albums of the Year for 1999.
"Ain't It Funny " is a song by American singer Jennifer Lopez for her remix album J to tha L–O! The Remixes (2002). The song was marketed as a remix of "Ain't It Funny", but is actually an entirely different song with the same title. It features guest vocals from Ja Rule and Caddillac Tah. It was written by Lopez, Atkins, Tah, Cory Rooney, Irving Lorenzo, and Ashanti. Over a reworking of the beat to Craig Mack's "Flava in Ya Ear", Lopez sings about "dropping a boyfriend who keeps messing up".

A New Day... was the first concert residency performed by Canadian singer Celine Dion in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. It was created and directed by Franco Dragone support her seventh English-language and eighteenth studio album A New Day Has Come (2002). and premiered on 25 March 2003. A 90-minute event, A New Day... introduced a new form of theatrical entertainment, a fusion of song, performance art, innovative stage craft and state-of-the-art technology. Dion was originally contracted for three years, however, due to its immediate success, the show continued for an additional two years. A New Day... ended on 15 December 2007, after a five-year run. A New Day... is the most successful residency of all time, grossing over US$385 million and drawing nearly three million people to 717 shows.

The album peaked at number 111 on the Billboard 200 and number 30 on the Top R&B Albums in the United States.

The production was handled by Agallah, Charlie Marotta, DJ Scratch, Solid Scheme and Fabian Hamilton with PMD serving as executive producer. "Let's Get Down" is a song by American rapper Bow Wow, released on June 24, 2003 as the first single off his third album Unleashed (2003). The song was written by Shad Moss, Phalon Alexander, Rahman Griffin and a then-unknown T.I. It was produced by Jazze Pha and features rapper Birdman under his former alias "Baby". It's the first song to be released by Bow Wow without the "Lil'" moniker in his name after making his film debut in 2002's Like Mike and releasing his cover of "Basketball" for the film's soundtrack. Bow Wow said that following the name change, he wanted to do the same with his music by contributing more into the songwriting process of the album and release a single that matched his new image.

The album debuted at number 93 on the US Billboard 200, with 5,800 copies sold in its first week of release.
Dysfunktional Family is the soundtrack to George Gallo-directed 2003 documentary stand-up comedy film Dysfunktional Family. It was released on March 11, 2003 through the newly reformed Death Row Records, which at the time was known as Tha Row Records. Production was handled by the label's production team, Tha Row Hitters, as well as China Black, Flash Technology, Irv Gotti, Just Blaze, Juvenile, Sir Jinx and Skip "17 Freeze" Wayne. It features contributions from Crooked I, Eastwood, Danny Boy, Ganxsta Ridd, Kurupt, Spider Loc, Ashanti, Gail Gotti, Ja Rule, Jay-Z, Juvenile, Michel'le, N.I.N.A., Virginya Slim, Phobia, Skip "17 Freeze" Wayne, Young Buck, and film star Eddie Griffin. "Krazy" is the title of a 1994 top forty R&B and dance single by BlackGirl. It is also their first single. Larry Flick of Billboard referred to it as "engaging and chock full of pleasant harmonizing". A music video spent various weeks in the top-twenty of the BET network.
Deadly Groundz is the debut and only studio album by American hip hop group 5th Ward Juvenilez. It was released on June 20, 1995 through Underground/Rap-A-Lot Records. Recording sessions took place at Digital Services in Houston. Production was handled by Mike Dean, N.O. Joe, Crazy C, Derek "Grizz" Edwards, and O.G. A New Breed of Female is the only studio album by American hip hop group II Tru. It was released on September 9, 1997 via Mo Thugs/Relativity Records. "El Destino" is a song by Mexican singer Juan Gabriel and Spanish songstress Rocío Dúrcal from their collaboration album Juntos Otra Vez. It was released as the lead single from the album on 31 March 1997. "El Destino" was nominated in the category of Pop Song of the Year at the 10th Annual Lo Nuestro Awards in 1998, but lost to "Si Tú Supieras" by Alejandro Fernández. The track won Song of the Year on the Pop/Ballad field at the 1998 ASCAP Latin Awards.
