Starfire is the first album by Jørn Lande's solo project Jorn. It was released on 21 November 2000.
It has mainly a melodic hard rock sound and several cover songs of his favorite bands. The album features members of his two then-current bands Ark and Millenium.
Lande said in interviews that the album is more of a demo thing than a full-length album with high production, which was much more improved on his next albums.

Jørn Marumsrud Lande is a Norwegian hard rock and heavy metal singer and songwriter. Considered one of the best voices in the world in these musical genres, he is known for his work with the bands Ark, Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Vagabond, The Snakes, and most notably with power metal band Masterplan. He is also the most recurrent guest singer of the international supergroup Avantasia, and has worked as lead and guest singer in several projects. Currently, he is focusing his activities on his solo project Jorn. In 2014, Lande was hired by Riot Games to be the voice of the character Karthus, of the fictional heavy metal band Pentakill, on their debut album Smite and Ignite, recording vocals for the songs "Lightbringer" and "Thornmail". He was also hired to sing most of the songs for their 2017 album Grasp of the Undying. and their 2021 album Pentakill III: Lost Chapter.
Ark was a progressive metal band from Norway founded by guitarist Tore Østby and drummer John Macaluso, who later joined up with singer Jørn Lande to record two albums. Lande, Østby and Macaluso were joined by Randy Coven on bass and Mats Olausson on keyboards for their second effort.
Masterplan is the German power metal band Masterplan's self-titled debut album, released in 2003 by AFM Records. The album received many good reviews and entered the charts at high positions. The album was voted album of the month in Sweden Rock Magazine, Rock Hard and Heavy, Oder Was?! in Germany and Metal Factory in Switzerland. The band received the "European Border Breakers Award" in 2004 from the European Commission, for the album sales around Europe.
The Battle is the first studio album by hard rock supergroup Allen-Lande, a collaboration between vocalists Russell Allen and Jørn Lande. It was released on 19 September 2005, and is the first of three albums in a row to feature Magnus Karlsson as songwriter, producer and performer of most instruments, and Jaime Salazar on drums.
