Starve for the Devil is the fourth studio album by American melodic death metal band Arsis. It was released on February 9, 2010, by Nuclear Blast Records.
Recording started in September 2009 at Planet Z Studios. Production was handled by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who is best known for his work with Rob Zombie, Queensrÿche, Hatebreed, Overkill, and many others. The album artwork was handled by Mark Riddick, who worked with Arsis on all of their earlier releases. Starve for the Devil debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, making it the highest charting Arsis album. [2]
Although Starve for the Devil was originally scheduled for a January 15 release date, it was pushed back into February with an announcement that a bonus track would be included on the European and Asian releases, and that two bonus tracks would be included on the limited Nuclear Blast mail order and vinyl editions. However, the second bonus track, a cover version of King Diamond's "The Lake", was pulled and only made available on the EMI compilation March is Metal Month 2010. [3]
In January, 2010, Arsis released a music video for "Forced to Rock", the first track on Starve for the Devil. [4]

The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2005. At one time known as a Christian metalcore band, it consists of members Mike Hranica, Jeremy DePoyster, Kyle Sipress, Mason Nagy (bass), Jonathan Gering, and Giuseppe Capolupo (drums). The band had maintained its original line-up until keyboardist James Baney left the band. To date, the group has released seven studio albums: Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord (2006), Plagues (2007), With Roots Above and Branches Below (2009), Dead Throne (2011), 8:18 (2013) Transit Blues (2016), and The Act (2019). Emil Werstler is an American guitarist and musician based in Nashville, Tennessee who is perhaps best known for his work in metal and gypsy jazz. In 2004, Werstler became lead guitarist for the metal band Dååth, whose second album The Hinderers peaked at No. 49 on the Top Heatseekers chart in 2007. In 2009 Dååth released The Concealers on Roadrunner which reached No. 35 on Top Heatseekers and was placed as No. 3 on a list of the "top twenty metal albums of 2009" by Metal Sucks. In 2010 Werstler released the instrumental metal album Avalanche of Worms as a collaboration with Eyal Levi with the album receiving a largely positive response for its musicianship and experimental nature.
The Infection is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Chimaira. Released in the US on April 20, 2009 and worldwide on April 24, it reached position 30 on the Billboard 200 charts on its first week of release, selling around 15,000 copies. This was improvement from the previous album's debut at No. 42. War Eternal is the ninth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, which was released first in Japan on 4 June 2014 by Century Media. It is the first Arch Enemy album in 15 years since Burning Bridges to feature a new line-up; Alissa White-Gluz took over on vocals after former long-time vocalist Angela Gossow stepped down from vocal duties to be the band's business manager. Additionally, ex-Arsis guitarist Nick Cordle replaced Christopher Amott in 2012.
