Stephen Dixon (born September 7, 1985) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey centre who last played for Glasgow Clan of the EIHL. [1]
A first round pick for Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (QMJHL) in the 2001 Midget Draft, the Halifax native played his entire junior career with Cape Breton, despite being traded to the Val-d'Or Foreurs before the start of the 2005 season.
Dixon was drafted in the seventh round, 229th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He played all 80 games with the Wilkes-Barre Scranton penguins for the 2005–2006 and 2006–2007 season. The Penguins traded him to the Anaheim Ducks on June 23, 2007, in exchange for Tim Brent. He was assigned to the Portland Pirates. Dixon played in the KHL-team Amur Khabarovsk in the season 2010–2011. On August 29, 2011, Dixon moved for the second consecutive season within Europe to sign a one-year contract with the Finnish club, Ässät of the SM-liiga. [2]
During the 2012–13 season, Dixon transferred at the transfer deadline from Ässät to return to the KHL with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on January 31, 2013. [3]
Dixon was a member of the gold medal-winning Canadian team at the 2005 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
He has since gone on to play for HC Yugra (KHL), Luleå HF (SHL), Tappara (Liiga), Grizzlys Wolfsburg (DEL) and Cardiff Devils (EIHL).
In June 2022, Dixon left Cardiff for fellow Elite League side Glasgow Clan. He was named player-assistant coach, before assuming the interim head coach position after the departure of Clan coach Malcolm Cameron in October 2022. [4] Dixon retired from hockey in July 2023. [5]

Hannes Ossian Hyvönen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player. He played 42 games in the National Hockey League with the San Jose Sharks and Columbus Blue Jackets between 2002 and 2003, though most of his career, which lasted from 1994 to 2009, was spent in European leagues. Internationally Hyvönen played for the Finnish national team at the 2008 and 2009 World Championships, winning a bronze in 2008. Hyvönen now works as a coach for Porin Ässät of the Liiga.
Niklas Hagman is a Finnish former professional ice hockey forward. He was a third round pick of the Florida Panthers, 70th overall, at the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut with Florida in 2001. He has also played for the Dallas Stars, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and Anaheim Ducks in the NHL, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the KHL, HIFK, Espoo Blues and Kärpät in the SM-liiga and HC Davos in the Swiss National League A.
Sami Lepistö is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman. He is the son of former Jokerit captain and youth international defenceman Jussi Lepistö. Sami was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the third round, 66th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Josh Gratton is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger who last played for the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL. Gratton played in the National Hockey League for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Phoenix Coyotes. His cousin is former NHL forward Chris Gratton.
Leonid Aleksandrovich Komarov is a professional ice hockey centre for HIFK of the SM-liiga. Born to an ethnic Russian–Finnish family in Estonia, and raised in Finland, Komarov plays for Finland internationally. A natural centre early in his career, Komarov has made the transition to being able to play all three forward positions.

Pekka Olavi "Rocky" Rautakallio is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman and coach. He played 14 seasons in Finland's SM-sarja and SM-liiga between 1968 and 1987 for Ässät and HIFK Helsinki, during which he was a five-time Finnish All-Star. Rautakallio was a member of Ässät's championship team that won the Kanada-malja in 1978. He was named the best defenceman of the SM-liiga in 1978, 1979 and 1986; the league later named the award the Pekka Rautakallio trophy in his honour. Internationally, Rautakallio played with the Finnish national team in seven World Championships and two Canada Cup tournaments.
