Otto John Jelinek, is a businessman, former figure skater, and Canadian politician. Jelinek's family fled to Switzerland, then to Canada from Czechoslovakia in 1948, following the Communist coup d'état when communists nationalized his father's cork and aluminium caps factory. Jelinek was appointed as ambassador of Canada to the Czech Republic in August 2013.
Val Joe "Rudy" Galindo is an American former competitive figure skater who competed in both single skating and pair skating. As a single skater, he is the 1996 U.S. national champion, 1987 World Junior Champion, and 1996 World Bronze medalist. As a pairs skater, he competed with Kristi Yamaguchi and was the 1988 World Junior Champion and the 1989 and 1990 U.S. National Champion. He is the first openly gay skating champion in the United States, though US, World and Olympic champion Brian Boitano came out long after his career was over.

Ken Rose is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2006 Merano Cup champion and 2003 Canadian junior national champion. He won a pair of bronze medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit and placed 13th at the 2004 World Junior Championships. Rose began skating at age seven and was coached by Linda Bridge for many years. He later trained at the Mariposa School of Skating under Doug Leigh.
Stephen Carr is an Australian former pair skater. With his sister, Danielle, he is a nineteen-time (1980–1998) Australian national champion. They competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics, placing 13th, the 1994 Winter Olympics, placing 11th, and the 1998 Winter Olympics, again placing 13th. They retired from competitive skating around 1998. During their career, they were coached by Sergei Shakhrai and Kerry Leitch.

Alexander Gamelin is an American-born South Korean ice dancer. He competed from the 2004–05 through the 2014–15 season with his twin sister, Danielle Gamelin. The two won the gold medal in senior dance at the 2015 U.S. Eastern Sectionals and placed seventh at the 2015 U.S. Championships. After his sister's retirement from competitive figure skating in April 2015, he teamed up with Yura Min to represent Republic of Korea. Min was born in the United States and maintains dual citizenship from the United States and the Republic of Korea. They are the 2017 and 2018 South Korean National Ice Dance Champions. Representing the Republic of Korea, Alexander and Yura competed in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics where they finished in 18th place. The ice dance partnership between Alexander Gamelin and Yura Min ended in June 2018.
