Christine "Stine" Bosse (born 21 December 1960) is a Danish businesswoman and politician. Bosse led the Moderates's list for the 2024 European election, and won election as a Member of the European Parliament; she is expected to be sworn-in in the upcoming Tenth European Parliament. [1]
Bosse gained a Masters of Law degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1987.
Upon graduation, Bosse began working for TrygVesta, a Nordic insurance agency, rising up the ranks until she became an executive manager in 1999. In 2003 she was appointed CEO, [2] and in 2009 the Financial Times identified her as "the 22nd most influential businesswoman in the world". [3]
The United Nations appointed Bosse as an Advocate for the Millennium Development Goals in 2010, [3] and she left TrygVesta in 2011, becoming a professional board member and subject-matter expert. In 2015 she was appointed President of the European Movement in Denmark, taking over from Anne E. Jensen, [4] and separately became the new Chair of the Board of BankNordik. [5] She is also President of the Royal Danish Theatre, a Member of the Board of Allianz, a non-executive director of Aker, [6] and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Copenhagen in the Department of Operations Management. She was elected to the European Parliament for the Moderates in the 2024 European Parliament election. [7] [8]
Anker Henrik Jørgensen was a Danish politician who served at various times as prime minister and foreign minister of Denmark. Between 1972 and 1982 he led five cabinets as prime minister. Jørgensen was president of the Nordic Council in 1986 and 1991.

Kira Marie Peter-Hansen is a Danish politician. She is a Green Left Member of the European Parliament (MEP) elected in 2019 and 2024. She also received 178,438 personal votes, which was the highest of any candidate in that election. Peter-Hansen is the youngest ever MEP.

The Denmark Democrats is a right-wing populist political party in Denmark. The party was founded in June 2022 by Inger Støjberg, and is officially titled Denmark Democrats – Inger Støjberg. The party is currently in opposition to the second Frederiksen government.

He has publicly advocated for companies to implement shareholder value enhancing strategies, actively pushing Danske Bank A/S to implement a share buyback program and arguing the Danske Bank Board of Directors ought to consider a sale of the company in order to unlock shareholder value.
