History
The first public school in Strasburg was constructed in 1881 at a cost of $5000, [3] and was located on South Wooster Avenue. This building has since been demolished and the current buildings reside at 140 N Bodmer Avenue.
The first school building in the current location was built in 1912. A new high school was finished in 1939 some yards to the north of the old building. In 1957, two additions were opened, one linking the existing buildings, and the other housing new classrooms on the south end of the 1912 building. The older building housed K-6, a small gymnasium, and elementary school offices. The 1939 building housed 7-12. The connecting addition housed school district administrators, high school principal, a gymnasium, cafeteria, band rooms, industrial education, and art facilities. All these buildings were demolished by 2012.
State and local funding was appropriated to construct new buildings just west of the old buildings. The first building opened in 2007. The second building, housing the high school and connected to the first building, opened in 2010 [4] using funds from the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement. [5] Local boosters are raising funds to finish athletic and other facilities prohibited by state law from using state funding to construct.

It is part of the Clearview Local School District, one of five school districts serving the city of Lorain and all of Sheffield Township, Ohio. Clearview High School houses students in grades 9-12. It was formerly named Clearview Junior-Senior High School and housed students in grades 7-12. After a remodeling project across the district in the early 2000s, grades 7 and 8 moved to Durling Middle School, just northwest of the high school.

Bishop Ready High School is a Catholic high school located in Columbus, Ohio. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus. The original building opened in 1961 and consisted of two floors of 22 classrooms and an Art and Shop Wing with three classrooms. In 1999 a science wing consisting of three rooms was opened and in 2004 a band room, weight room, trainer's office, and wrestling room were added. The original building covers a total area of 95,695 sq. ft. and cost $1,237,000 total to construct.

The Southern Ohio Conference (S.O.C.) is an athletic conference in Ohio. The conference is also a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the governing body of Ohio athletics. There are currently seventeen member schools in the conference. The S.O.C. includes teams from four different Ohio counties - Jackson County, Lawrence County, Pike County, and Scioto County. The conference recognizes: baseball, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' cross country, football, boys' and girls' soccer, fast pitch softball, boys' and girls' swimming, boys' and girls' tennis, boys' and girls' track and field athletics, and girls' volleyball.
