Inter-Valley Conference

The Inter-Valley Conference is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) athletic league made up of 14 schools from Carroll, Coshocton, Holmes, Stark, Guernsey and Tuscarawas counties.

Contents

The conference underwent a major change at the start of the 2017–18 season as the league added five new member schools including Indian Valley, Claymont, Tuscarawas Valley, Buckeye Trail and Conotton Valley.

The following sports were offered by member schools according to each district's official website. Sandy Valley offered the most opportunities to their students as they supported 18 varsity sports while Claymont offers 17 and Indian Valley and Tuscarawas Central Catholic offer15 each.

The Northeast Ohio Conference (NOC) was a high school athletics conference, recognized by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), in northeast Ohio. Eighteen member schools — each located within the Northeast District of the OHSAA — competed in three six-member divisions: Valley, River and Lake. Dan Gerome served as the last NOC commissioner. Anthony J. Paletta designed the conference logo in 2006.

Harrison Central Junior/Senior High School is located in Cadiz, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Harrison Hills City School District. Bellaire High School is a public high school located in Bellaire, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Bellaire Local School District. Athletic teams compete as the Bellaire Big Reds in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.

Big Walnut High School is a public high school located in Sunbury, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Big Walnut School District. The first Big Walnut High School to open was in August of 1951 at 105 Baughman Street. The current building was opened in January of 2022 to meet the demands of the growing district and has a student population of approximately 1300 students. The school's mascot is the Golden Eagle.

Bridgeport High School is a public high school in Bridgeport, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Bridgeport Exempted Village School District. Bridgeport plays in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. Their mascot is the Bulldog and the school colors are Columbia blue, black, and white. The school moved to its current location at 55707 Industrial Dr. in January 2007. The new school complex houses all Pre-K - 12 students.

St. John Central Academy is a private christian school in Bellaire, Ohio. Their nickname is the Fighting Irish, and their athletic teams compete as members of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.

The East Central Ohio League (ECOL) was an athletic conference of high schools in Ohio sponsored by OHSAA that existed from 1987-2022. Its final member schools were located in Tuscarawas and Washington Counties. Former members were located in Guernsey, Coshocton, Muskingum, and Belmont Counties.

The Southern Ohio Conference (S.O.C.) is an athletic conference in Ohio. The conference is also a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the governing body of Ohio athletics. There are currently seventeen member schools in the conference. The S.O.C. includes teams from four different Ohio counties - Jackson County, Lawrence County, Pike County, and Scioto County. The Great Lakes Conference is an OHSAA athletics conference that began play with the 2015-16 school year. The following are members:

The Metro Athletic Conference is an association of eight high schools and their associated middle/junior high schools located in the northeast region of the U.S. state of Ohio. Four member schools are in Summit County, three are in Portage County, and one in Medina County. The league was formed in 2019 and began competition in 2020, comprising all eight members of the former Portage Trail Conference Metro Division. The initial opening of conference play for many sports was put in jeopardy from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with golf being the only sport to begin interscholastic at the outset in early August 2020. Later in August, it was announced by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine that all sports were allowed to compete under special guidelines outlined by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA).
