Strings is the debut album of the Pakistani pop band Strings, released in the year 1990. The album was recorded at the EMI Studios in Karachi and was produced by lead guitarist Bilal Maqsood. Singles from the album included "Pyar Se Phir", "Yeh Hai Pyar Ka Saman" and "Jab Se Tum Ko".

Junoon is a Pakistani sufi rock band from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, and Tappan, New York, formed in 1990. The band is directed by founder, lead guitarist and songwriter, Salman Ahmad, who was soon joined by keyboardist Nusrat Hussain, bass guitarist Brian O’Connell and vocalist Ali Azmat. Junoon is Pakistan's and one of South Asia's most successful bands. Since their inception, the group has released a total of nineteen albums: seven studio albums; one soundtrack; two live albums; four video albums; and five compilations. They have sold over 30 million records worldwide.
Bilal Maqsood is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, composer, music video director and painter better known for being a founding member of the pop-rock band Strings (1988–2021).
Junoon is the debut album of the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released on 30 September 1992. It was released by EMI and recorded at the EMI studios in Karachi in 1990. The album is produced by founder, songwriter and lead guitarist Salman Ahmad. The album contained a total track list of twelve songs with eight tracks being in Urdu language, three tracks in English and one instrumental.
Entity Paradigm was a Pakistani rock band from Lahore, Punjab, formed in 2000. The band was founded by songwriter and guitarist Xulfi, vocalist, songwriter Fawad Khan and keyboardist and vocalist Ahmed Ali Butt who were soon joined by Salman Albert on guitars, Ali Asad Khan on drums, Hassaan Khalid on rhythm guitars and Waqar Ahmed on drums, since then there had been many changes in the line-up the only consistent members being Ahmed Ali Butt, Salman Albert, and Hassaan Khalid.

Dil Dil Pakistan had unparalleled success, something which no song has ever been able to achieve in Pakistan, on its way to becoming one of the most famous songs ever written.
"Ghoom Taana" is a song by Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon. It was released as the fifth and final single from their seventh full-length studio album, Dewaar. The single also featured in Salman Ahmad's debut solo album, Infiniti. The song was originally sung jointly by Ali Noor, vocalist of Noori, and Ali Azmat. However, the duet sung with Shubha Mudgal featured only Salman Ahmad for the male vocals. In 2016, a new rendition of the song featured in the band's eighth studio album, Door.
Aunty Disco Project is an indie rock band from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, formed in 2006. The band's initial line-up consisted of Omar Bilal Akhtar as vocalist and guitarist, along with bassist Imran Lodhi, guitarist Khawer Khan and drummer Omar Khalid, since then there had been many changes in the line-up but the current line-up has only Omar Bilal Akhtar on the lead vocals and lead guitars, Imran Lodhi on Bass, Khawer Khan on guitars & Hamza Qureshi on the drums. The band was widely regarded as one of the best live acts in the country.
Strings was a Pakistani pop/rock band composed of two members, plus four live band members from Karachi, Pakistan. The band was initially formed by four college students—Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia (vocals), Rafiq Wazir Ali (synthesizer) and Kareem Bashir Bhoy —in 1988. In 1992 the quartet disbanded, only to make a comeback with Maqsood and Kapadia in 2000. While the initial band rode the new wave of Pakistani pop music, the later lineup ushered a revival in the Pakistani music industry.

Aunty Disco Project is the debut self-titled studio album of the Pakistani indie rock band Aunty Disco Project, released in December, 2007 independently at New Shadab Studios. The album achieved success as the band received wide acclaim and exposure alongside mainstream acts.
Talaash is the second studio album of the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released on September 3, 1993. The album was to be their first with bassist Brian O'Connell, who joined the band after Nusrat Hussain departed from the band to pursue his career as a solo artist and released his debut album Amrit in 1992. This was also the first Junoon album produced by Salman Ahmad and O'Connell, both also went on releasing several other albums by Junoon before O'Connell left the band after Dewaar in 2003. The album also served as a soundtrack for the Pakistani television show Talaash, which featured the band and its novel storyline was based on the band.
Imran Muhammad Akhoond is a Pakistani guitarist and session musician. He is best-known as the lead guitarist in the band of Pakistani pop/rock singer Shehzad Roy. He has performed with various other bands, including Junaid Jamshed, Strings and Vital Signs.
Zoe Viccaji is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and actress from Karachi. She began her career as a backing vocalist at Coke Studio and later moved on to becoming one of the featured artists. Viccaji has released one studio album which received various accolades.
Woh Jahan is the third studio album by Pakistani progressive rock band Black Hour, released on 19 February 2021 by Rearts Records globally. The recording sessions occurred at the SnakeHook Studios in Islamabad, Pakistan with production by Black Hour alongside Fahad Humayun Chohan. The album is the first Urdu language album by the band.
