Scooter is a German happy hardcore, rave and techno music band founded in Hamburg in 1993. To date, the band has sold over 30 million records and earned over 80 Gold and Platinum awards. Scooter is considered the most commercially successful German single-record act with 23 top ten hits. Since December 2022, the band is composed of lead vocalist H.P. Baxxter and manager Jens Thele.
The Stadium Techno Experience is the ninth studio album by Scooter. Three singles were released from it: "Weekend!", "The Night" and a remix of "Maria " featuring Marc Acardipane and Dick Rules. Its artwork is an homage to the 1991 album The White Room by The KLF. It is the first album featuring Jay Frog. In the United Kingdom, The Stadium Techno Experience became Scooter's second studio album in the top 40 after Our Happy Hardcore (1996).

The Sheffield Jumpers are a dance troupe and group of musicians from Rotterdam, who practice the jumpstyle type of dancing and music. They are most well known with their performances with German band Scooter. The name "Sheffield Jumpers" came from H.P. Baxxter's own suggestion, because the Jumpers wanted a new identity, and until then were known as the "Scooter Jumpers".

"The Sound Above My Hair" was first performed live at The Dome 52. The track used in the single was taken from a sample of "Wonderful Life" by the English alternative rock band Black. In addition, the track also samples the 19th century Shaker hymn, "Simple Gifts". H. P. Baxxter uses Auto-Tune effect while singing.

Scooter Forever is the nineteenth studio album by German band Scooter, released on 1 September 2017 through Sheffield Tunes and Kontor Records. It is the last studio album featuring Phil Speiser, who had been with the band since 2014. It is also the first Scooter album since 2009's "Under the Radar Over the Top" to consist of primarily jumpstyle songs.
God Save the Rave is the twentieth studio album by German band Scooter, released on 16 April 2021 through Sheffield Tunes and Kontor Records. It is the first Scooter album not to be released after the usual one year-two year gap, being released almost four years after 2017's Scooter Forever. It is also the first and only studio album featuring Sebastian Schilde, who replaced Phil Speiser in 2019 and then departed from the band in December 2022, and the final studio album featuring Michael Simon who also left in December 2022 after being with the band since 2006.
