Subsonica are an Italian band formed in Turin in 1996. Their eponymous debut album was released in the spring of 1997. The band gained significant success in 2000 by playing at the Sanremo Music Festival. The first two singles from the album Microchip emozionale, "Tutti i miei sbagli" ("All my mistakes") and "Discolabirinto" ("Discolabyrinth") were hits.

Alive II is the second live album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on October 14, 1977, by Casablanca Records. The band had released three albums since the previous live outing, the 1975 release Alive!, so they drew upon the variety of new tracks, with Eddie Kramer producing. The album is one of the best selling in the Kiss discography, being the band's first to be certified double platinum in February 1996, the same month the Kiss reunion tour was announced. It has continued to sell in the US in the Soundscan era, selling over 300,000 copies from 1991 and to March 2012.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Arakain</span> Czech heavy metal band

Arakain is a Czech heavy metal band founded in Prague in 1982 by former members of the band Apad, whose vocalist, Aleš Brichta, became the frontman of the new project and remained with the band until 2002. The other founding members were guitarist Jiří Urban and drummer Miroslav Nedvěd. After Brichta's departure, Petr Kolář took over vocal duties, and was in turn replaced by Jan Toužimský in 2005. The band's lineup has changed multiple times since its inception, and the only remaining original member is guitarist Jiří Urban. Arakain are considered to be one of the most influential Czech metal bands.
