Warren Brown is the host of the Food Network show, Sugar Rush. He had a career in health education and law until he decided that his true calling was to become a pastry chef, and is the founder and owner of bakery CakeLove and Love Café in Washington, DC. The original CakeLove location on U Street NW in Washington, DC was opened in 2002, with LoveCafe opening down the street in 2003. Five CakeLove locations were in the greater Washington area. Jeffrey Adam "Duff" Goldman is an American businessman, pastry chef, television personality, and writer. He is the executive chef of the Baltimore-based Charm City Cakes shop, which was featured in the Food Network reality television show Ace of Cakes, and his second, Los Angeles–based, shop Charm City Cakes West, which is featured in Food Network's Duff Till Dawn and "Cake Masters" series. His work has also been featured on the Food Network Challenge, Iron Chef America, Oprah, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Man v. Food, Buddy vs. Duff, Duff Takes the Cake, and Duff's Happy Fun Bake Time.
Nancy Silverton is an American chef, baker, restaurateur, and author. The winner of the James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Chef Award in 2014, Silverton is recognized for her role in popularizing sourdough and artisan breads in the United States.

Miguelitos are a type of cream-filled puff pastry, which can also be referred to as a cake. They originated in La Roda, in Castilla–La Mancha, Spain: Manuel Blanco, the creator of these flaky desserts, was born in La Roda in 1925. After being a part of the military in 1960 he migrated to a place called Pamplona where his masterpiece was created. The name Miguelito came after he decided to give his friend Miguel the first bite of his creation; from there the name stuck. La Roda de Albacete started to be known with various pastry chefs throughout Spain, causing the expansion of the dessert.
Ron Ben-Israel is an Israeli-American pastry chef. He is the executive chef and owner of Ron Ben-Israel Cakes in New York City. He is known for his wedding and special occasion cakes as well as for his detail in sugar paste flowers. From 2011 to 2013, he hosted the cooking competition TV show Sweet Genius. Ben-Israel has also been a judge on a variety of Food Network shows, including Cake Wars, Chopped, Guy's Grocery Games and Worst Cooks in America.
Adriano Zumbo is an Australian pâtissier and television presenter. He opened his first patisserie in 2007 before rising to prominence as a frequent guest on MasterChef Australia. Zumbo is the titular host of the Australian baking competition program Zumbo's Just Desserts and a judge on the Netflix web series Sugar Rush. As a popular figure he has garnered many nicknames in the media, including "Sweet Assassin", "Patissier of Pain," "the Dark Lord of the Pastry Kitchen" and "Lord Voldecake." He has also been called "Australia's answer to Willy Wonka."
Darren Purchese is an Australian chef, author and television personality. He is the creator of the popular cake and dessert business, Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio, in Melbourne, Australia. Purchese is a regular guest chef on Network 10's MasterChef Australia. He is a judge on The Great Australian Bake Off 2023 season.
Pichet Ong is a 5 times James Beard Award nominated chef who specializes in desserts. As a self-taught chef with no formal training Chef Ong is best known for pioneering savory techniques and forgoing the heavy use of sugar in his desserts. Ong mixes classic technique and whimsical culinary style which are inspired by his heritage and local ingredients.
Johnny Iuzzini /u-zee-nee/ is a New York City-based American pastry chef, television celebrity, and cookbook author. He served as executive pastry chef at Daniel from 2001 through 2002 and at Jean Georges from 2002 through 2011. Iuzzini is the author of two cookbooks and was a judge on the first three seasons of The Great American Baking Show. On November 29, 2017, Iuzzini was accused of sexual harassment by four former employees and the third season of The Great American Baking Show was pulled after one episode.
Sugar Rush is an American baking reality television series, released on Netflix on July 13, 2018. The series features four professional teams of two competing in a baking competition for a prize of $10,000. Teams of two bakers compete in three rounds. The round one is cupcakes, round two is confections, and round three is cake. The third season, dubbed Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet, is the series' first spin-off season, where if a team wins either a cupcake or confection challenge, they can choose either additional 15-minute time in the final cake challenge or $1,500 prize.
Dessert First with Anne Thornton is an American cooking show that aired on Food Network, and was presented by pastry chef Anne Thornton. The series featured Thornton demonstrating how to prepare different desserts and pastries.
Claudia Fleming is an American dessert chef. She grew up in Long Island, New York, and initially pursued ballet. She instead became a professional dessert chef, releasing a book entitled The Last Course. The book attained a cult following, as well as critical praise. She has been featured on Beat Bobby Flay, Chopped, Barefoot Contessa, and Top Chef: Just Desserts.
