Sugar Rush is an American cooking television program that aired on the Food Network from 2005 to 2007.
It was hosted by Warren Brown, a former lawyer who decided to become a pastry chef. [1] Brown, who ran a pastry shop, Cake Love, [2] [3] and cafe, Love Cafe in Washington, DC, meets other pastry chefs and dessert makers and cooks with them. The show was described Brown "travel[ing] the country in search of interesting, outrageous desserts." [2] Food Network staff said it was the first show featuring a Washington, DC–area food personality. [4]
It had a 13-episode first season [4] and was picked up for a second season. A total of two seasons aired on the Food Network with a total of 26 episodes. [5]
The show originally aired at 9:30pm on Wednesdays [4] [6] and included guests such as TV baker Duff Goldman [7] and celebrity chef Jose Andres. [8]

The original CakeLove location on U Street NW in Washington, DC was opened in 2002, with LoveCafe opening down the street in 2003. Five CakeLove locations were in the greater Washington area. The CakeLove retail bakeries closed, with the last location closing in 2015, and the CakeLove brand was redesigned to sell " CakeLove in a Jar."

He is the executive chef of the Baltimore-based Charm City Cakes shop, which was featured in the Food Network reality television show Ace of Cakes, and his second, Los Angeles–based, shop Charm City Cakes West, which is featured in Food Network's Duff Till Dawn and "Cake Masters" series. The name Miguelito came after he decided to give his friend Miguel the first bite of his creation; from there the name stuck. La Roda de Albacete started to be known with various pastry chefs throughout Spain, causing the expansion of the dessert.

Johnny Iuzzini /u-zee-nee/ is a New York City-based American pastry chef, television celebrity, and cookbook author. He served as executive pastry chef at Daniel from 2001 through 2002 and at Jean Georges from 2002 through 2011. Iuzzini is the author of two cookbooks and was a judge on the first three seasons of The Great American Baking Show. On November 29, 2017, Iuzzini was accused of sexual harassment by four former employees and the third season of The Great American Baking Show was pulled after one episode.
Sugar Rush is an American baking reality television series, released on Netflix on July 13, 2018. The series features four professional teams of two competing in a baking competition for a prize of $10,000. Teams of two bakers compete in three rounds. The round one is cupcakes, round two is confections, and round three is cake. The third season, dubbed Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet, is the series' first spin-off season, where if a team wins either a cupcake or confection challenge, they can choose either additional 15-minute time in the final cake challenge or $1,500 prize.
