Sugarfoot is a Walter Lantz character, who made his first appearance in the cartoon "A Horse's Tale", in 1954. He appears again in 1954's "Hay Rube". He is later seen as a supporting character in The Woody Woodpecker Show. Sugarfoot's final appearance was in 1970, in the Woody Woodpecker short "Wild Bill Hiccup".

Walter Lantz Productions American Animation Studio

Walter Lantz Productions was an American animation studio. It was in operation from 1928 to 1978, and was the principal supplier of animation for Universal Studios, now part of the media conglomerate NBCUniversal, owned by Comcast. Nowadays the company exists in name only as a subsidiary of Universal Animation Studios, handling the rights to the studio's characters and films.

Walter Benjamin Lantz was an American cartoonist, animator, film producer, director and actor best known for founding Walter Lantz Productions and creating Woody Woodpecker.

Chilly Willy

Chilly Willy is a cartoon character, a diminutive penguin. He was created by director Paul Smith for the Walter Lantz studio in 1953, and developed further by Tex Avery in the two subsequent films following Smith's debut entry. The character soon became the second most popular Lantz/Universal character, behind Woody Woodpecker. Fifty Chilly Willy cartoons were produced between 1953 and 1972.

Grace Stafford American actress

Grace Lantz, also known by her stage name Grace Stafford, was an American actress and the wife of animation producer Walter Lantz. Stafford is best known for providing the voice of Woody Woodpecker, a creation of Lantz's, from 1950 to 1992.

The Woody Woodpecker and Friends Classic Cartoon Collection: Volume 2 is a three-disc DVD collection of theatrical cartoons starring Woody Woodpecker and the other Lantz characters, produced by Walter Lantz Productions for Universal Pictures between 1932 and 1958. The set was released by Universal Studios Home Entertainment on April 15, 2008. Included in the set are seventy-five cartoon shorts, including the next forty-five Woody Woodpecker cartoons, continuing the production order from Volume 1. The other thirty cartoons include five Andy Panda shorts, five Chilly Willy shorts, five Oswald the Lucky Rabbit shorts, five Musical Favorites, and ten Cartune Classics.

After the Ball is the 67th animated cartoon short subject in the Woody Woodpecker series. Released theatrically on February 13, 1956, the film was produced by Walter Lantz Productions and distributed by Universal International.

Wild and Woody! is the 30th animated cartoon short subject in the Woody Woodpecker series. It is a Western film. Released theatrically on December 31, 1948, the film was produced by Walter Lantz Productions and distributed by United Artists.

Space Mouse

The first Space Mouse was a comic book character published from 1953 to around 1956 by Avon Publications. Space Mouse was also the name of a 1959 Universal Studios cartoon featuring two mice and a cat named Hickory, Dickory, and Doc. A second Space Mouse character was published by Dell Comics from 1960 to around 1965. The Dell Comics version was also featured in a 1960 cartoon produced by Walter Lantz, entitled The Secret Weapon.

Homer Pigeon is a Walter Lantz funny animal cartoon character, who made his first appearance in the cartoon "Pigeon Patrol", in 1942. His final appearance was in 1964, in The Woody Woodpecker Show episode "Spook-A-Nanny".

Windy & Breezy are Walter Lantz characters, who made their first appearance in the cartoon "Fodder and Son", in 1957. Their final appearance was in 1959, in "Bee Bopped".

Elmer the Great Dane

Elmer the Great Dane is a Walter Lantz character in the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon series, who premiered in the 1935 short Elmer the Great Dane. The character's name is most likely a reference to Elmer, the Great, a 1933 film.

Fish Fry is a 1944 Andy Panda cartoon directed by Shamus Culhane, and produced by Walter Lantz Productions. The plot centers around a street cats endless attempts to eat Andy's goldfish after ordering it from a pet shop. The cartoon was noticeable for being nominated for the 1944 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, but lost to Tom and Jerry's Mouse Trouble, produced by MGM.
