Woody Woodpecker is an American animated web series featuring the cartoon character of the same name created by Walter Lantz and produced by Splash Entertainment. The series premiered on YouTube on December 3, 2018. [2] [3] [4] [5]
In 2020, Woody Woodpecker and Wally Walrus appeared in a series of PSAs. [6] The second season premiered on October 28 the same year. [7] The third season premiered on November 6, 2022. [8] The tenth episode of the third season, titled "Space Track", was not published on the official Woody Woodpecker channel on YouTube until April 2, 2023. It was available on the official Facebook page and removed at beginning of January the same year. [9]
In 2023, the series became available to watch on Kabillion. [10]
In 2018, Universal 1440 Entertainment was producing a new series of Woody Woodpecker animated shorts exclusively for the official Woody Woodpecker YouTube channels in Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and English. The first season was directed by Alex Zamm, who also directed the 2017 film. [11]
