Sukhbir Singh is an Indian singer. He is often referred to as the "Prince of Bhangra". [1] [2] His Bhangra music varied from fusion to pure Punjabi at times.
Sukhbir Singh was born in bhogpur Jalandhar, Punjab, India but moved with his family to Nairobi, Kenya, and was raised there. [3] [4] He spent 20 years in Nairobi. [5] He began recording in 1991 [4] and moved to Dubai in 1992, where he has been based ever since. [6] [7]
His first album. New Stylee, was recorded in Dubai and had many foreign influences. The album though, was nominated and won the 1996 Channel V Awards in three categories: Best Debut Album, Best Male Vocalist and Best Music Video (for "Punjabi Munde") [8] This album was followed by another, Gal Ban Gayi, and then a third called Hai Energy.Gal Ban Gayi went Platinum in 1997. His other album, Dil Kare, includes hits such as the title song and Nachle Soniye. The video to the song 'Girls Girls Girls' features various Indian actresses, including Prachi Desai, Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Divya Chauhan. [9]
Sukhbir's Bhangra is a fusion of Bhangra with rap, techno and reggae. The juxtaposition of these musical styles is enhanced by Sukhbir's use of original Bhangra instruments like the dhol and dholak. In Oi Triesto, his music was complemented by Spanish and Portuguese rhythms, while he also uses instruments like: tablas, congos, guitars and keyboards in his music. [8] [10]
He sang the song Dil Laga Na from Dhoom 2. He has also sung a song with Canadian band Josh. When the tsunami occurred he sang a song with Jassi Sidhu, Shin, DCS and Taz, stereo nation.[ citation needed ] He made a guest appearance in a 2012 Punjabi Film Pata Nahi Rabb Kehdeyan Rangan Ch Raazi as himself. He is back to singing now and his new album is Tere naal nachna. In 2021, he released the track 'Nachdi', featuring Arjun which peaked at No.4 on the Billboard Top Triller Global Charts. [11]
He is based out of Dubai with his wife Dimpy. He has a twin daughter and son.

Kuldeep Manak, also spelled as Kuldip Manak, was an Indian singer best known for singing a rare genre of Punjabi music, kali, also known by its plural form kalian or kaliyan. Manak is generally regarded as one of the greatest Punjabi artists of all time. His high pitched strong voice was unique, and instantly recognisable. A statue of Manak has been erected in Ludhiana near his residence as a tribute.

Sardool Sikander was an Indian singer associated with Punjabi-language folk and pop music, who made his first appearances on radio and television in the early 1980s with his introductory album, "Roadways Di Laari". He also acted in some Punjabi language films, like Jagga Daku. Sardool's father, the late Sagar Mastana, was a famous tabla player who invented a special type of tabla that was played with a thin bamboo stick. Sardool was married to Amar Noorie, a well-known singer and actress herself, and has two sons, Alaap Sikander and Sarang Sikander. Both sons are pursuing music and are set to put out their creations in the near future.

Nachhatar Gill is a Punjabi musician and singer-songwriter. He was born to a Sikh family at their village Akaalgarh near Badesron, Tehsil Garhshankar, Punjab, India. Gill was very fond of music. His father was a kirtani. He used to sing along with his father at their village's temple's annual program. Gill got popularity with his solo song "Dil Ditta Nahin Si". His two religious albums are Sahib Jinah Diyan Mane (2006), and Ardaas Karaan (2010). He appeared in his first movie, Gal Sun Ho Gaya in 2012. He has appeared in three more films since then, the latest one being Jugaadi Dot Com in 2015.

Lyrics were written by Kumaar with Punjabi lyrics penned lyrics by Vicky Sandhu for the soundtrack album of the 2023 Indian film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The audio of the track was released on 27 February 2023. The full video song was released on 2 March 2023, as the second single from the album, through Zee Music Company.
