Sundar Basti is a village of Kakot in the eastern part of Dolpa District in the central part of Nepal. [1] [2] According to the 2011 Nepal census, it had a total population of 900 people residing in 400 individual households. [3]

The Magar language or Magar ḍhuṭ is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken mainly in Nepal, southern Bhutan, and in Darjeeling, Assam and Sikkim, India, by the Magar people. It is divided into two groups and further dialect divisions give distinct tribal identity. In Nepal 810,000 people speak the language. Despite Magars not having a state for its own country the Magar language is an additional official language in Gandaki Province and Karnali Province of Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim.

In 12 March 2017 The government implemented the new local administrative structure consisting of 744 local units. With the implementation of this new local administrative structure, the old structure will no longer be in existence. According to the new structure, VDCs will be replaced with village councils. Newly merged VDCs are Sankhar, Sekham, Ward no. 8 of Pakbadi & Ward no. of Malyangkot. The office of the municipality is that of the former Chapakot Municipality.

Raipur (राइपुर) is part of Shuklagandaki Municipality in Tanahu District of Gandaki Province [Province No. 4], in central Nepal. The whole previous Raipur Village Development Committee is now included as the Ward No 11 of Shuklagandaki Municipality in March 2017. The head of the Raipur Ward No 11 is Shalikram Bhattarai. Raipur is situated in about 18 km west from Dulegaunda Town & about 15 km from Putalibazar of Syangja District. Not all the areas of Raipur has good drinking water facilities. People, in the hillside such as Bishauna, Chilaunekhark, Baaspani (Gaunpahal), Thumkidada, Simleshwara, Samtari, Bangalekhola have to spend most of their morning time in collecting drinking water from pond.
