Bomberman is a video game franchise created by Shinichi Nakamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara, originally developed by Hudson Soft and currently owned by Konami. The original game, also known as Bakudan Otoko, was released in Japan in July 1983 and has since spawned multiple sequels and spin-offs released on numerous platforms, as well as several anime and manga adaptations.
Daman and Diu was a union territory in northwestern India. With an area of 112 km2 (43 sq mi), it was the smallest administrative subdivision of India on the mainland. The territory comprised two districts, Daman and Diu Island, geographically separated by the Gulf of Khambat. The state of Gujarat and the Arabian Sea bordered the territory. A Portuguese colony since the 1500s, these territories were taken over by India with the Annexation of Goa in 1961. Daman and Diu were administered as part of the union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu between 1961 and 1987. After the Goa Opinion Poll, they became separate union territories. In 2019, a legislation was passed to merge the union territories of Daman and Diu with its neighbouring union territory, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, to form the new union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu with effect from 26 January 2020.
Ogre Battle is a series of five tactical role-playing and real-time strategy video games developed by Quest Corporation and is currently owned by Square Enix through Square's acquisition of Quest. There are five main games in the series, starting with the release of Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen in 1993.
B-Daman is a marble shooting toy franchise produced in Japan by Takara. It was originally based on the Bomberman series, but later expanded into other franchises and its own original designs.

Shōji Yonemura is a Japanese writer from Fukuoka Prefecture. He is known mainly for his work in anime and tokusatsu. After having graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, he worked as a freelance writer in Arakawa and would attend various film festivals. Then, he studied under Hiroshi Kashiwabara and others at a scenario course sponsored by the Japan Writers Guild. Awarded as winner of the 7th Otomo Shoji Award for scenario in 1994.
Super Robot Spirits is a 3D fighting game for the Nintendo 64, and a spinoff of the Super Robot Wars line of games. It was released only in Japan in 1998.
Crash B-Daman is the third comic adaptation of the B-Daman toy, first serialized in the January 2006 issue of Coro Coro Comic. The television series started on January 9, 2006, replacing Battle B-Daman on TV Tokyo. It was the last television series of B-Daman until B-Daman Crossfire was announced on June 3, 2011.
Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden, commonly abbreviated as BB-Daman Bakugaiden (Ｂビーダマン爆外伝) or BBB, is a CoroCoro Comic series created by Koichi Mikata, based on Bomberman and B-Daman. Battle B-Daman is a Japanese manga series by Eiji Inuki which ran in CoroCoro Comics by Shogakukan from 2002 to 2005. An anime adaptation was released in January 2004. It premiered in the United States in April 2005. It is the first show of the B-Daman series to be dubbed in English. In Japan, the second season, titled Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits!, was superseded by Crash B-Daman, a new series with an all new cast and story. The toyline was originally manufactured by Takara and was licensed by Hasbro for release in United States.

Mitsuo Hashimoto is a Japanese storyboard artist and director of television, OVA, and anime films. He previously worked under 橋本 光夫, but changed as someone else was using that name. While he was under contract with Toei Animation, he also did work for other companies under the name Genjūrō Tachibana.
Sukehiro Tomita is a Japanese scenario writer. He is known for his work on Digimon Frontier, Gall Force, Genesis Climber MOSPEADA, Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, Sailor Moon, Macross II, B't X and Wedding Peach. At the 2024 Tokyo Anime Award Festival, Tomita won the Lifetime Achievement Award in the scriptwriter category.
B-Daman Crossfire, known in Japan as Cross Fight B-Daman, is the first B-Daman anime of the Cross Fight series and the seventh B-Daman anime series, overall. Premiering on October 2, 2011 in Japan, it became the first B-Daman anime to air in almost five years, and first to be produced in 16:9 widescreen, following the finale of Crash B-Daman on December 25, 2006. Its last episode, Conclusion! Cross Fight's New Era aired on September 30, 2012 in Japan. A sequel series, B-Daman Fireblast, premiered the following week.
B-Daman Fireblast, known in Japan as Cross Fight B-Daman eS, is the second B-Daman anime series in the Crossfire saga, succeeding B-Daman Crossfire, and is based on the Emblem Charge System introduced in the toyline in September 2012. It premiered on October 7, 2012, after an airing of Beyblade: Shogun Steel at 8:45 JST on the TV Tokyo network. It was later moved to 8:30 JST following the conclusion of the Beyblade: Shogun Steel anime, and the introduction of the Beast Saga anime.
Burst Ball Barrage!! Super B-Daman is a Japanese manga series serialized in Coro Coro Comics, based on Takara's B-Daman toy. It was first released in 1995. An anime series produced by Xebec was shown in TV Tokyo between January 4, 1999 to October 1, 1999.
