South Korean girl group (G)I-dle have released two studio albums, nine extended plays, one single album and fourteen digital singles. They have also participated in six collaboration songs and two soundtrack contributions. Formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018, (G)I-dle debuted on May 2, 2018, with EP I Am with the song "Latata" as their first single. The group continued with the release of their first digital single titled "Hann (Alone)" on August 14, 2018, peaking at number 8 on the Gaon Digital Chart. They released their second mini album titled I Made on February 26, 2019, followed by the release of their second digital single titled "Uh-Oh" on June 26. Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, WayV, has released one studio album, one reissue, four extended plays (EP), one single album, and eleven singles with SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label, Label V. WayV debuted in 2019 with the single album The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127's "Regular" as the lead single. In the same year, the group entered the Billboard World Albums chart for the first time with their first EP, Take Off. Their second EP, Take Over the Moon, was released on October 29, 2019, and debuted in the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. The song is a modified version of "Gin Gin Gin", which Moritaka wrote for a Suntory Ice Gin commercial. The first B-side is "Gin Gin Gingle Bell", which was used for the Suntory Ice Gin Christmas commercial that year.
