Supercry is the second studio album by Australian recording artist Emma Louise, released on 15 July 2016. The album debuted at number 14 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Emma Louise toured the album throughout October and November 2016. [5]
"Underflow" was released as the lead single on 7 November 2015. [1] The music video premiered on 14 December 2015. [6] The song placed second at the 2016 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition. [7]
"Talk Baby Talk", was released as the second single on 18 March 2016. [2] Paul McBridge from Music Feeds called it "an emotion-charged last roll of the relationship dice." [8]
"West End Kids" was released as the third single on 8 July 2016. [3] Its video premiered in August 2016 which Sosefina Fuamoli from The Music AU described as "Creepy, hypnotic and captivating". [5]
"Illuminate" was released in October 2016 as the fourth and final single. A video was released to promote the single. Emma Louise said about the song "It's about coming out of a dark time and being determined to turn yourself around for good." [4]
A video for "I Thought I Was a Ship" was released in July 2016 to promote the album, with auspOp saying "It's clear that 'I Thought I Was a Ship' isn't single material, but it's an utterly beautiful sub-five minute advertisement for the album." [9]

Daniel Paul Johns is an Australian musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the former frontman, guitarist, and main songwriter of the rock band Silverchair. Johns is also one half of The Dissociatives with Paul Mac and one half of Dreams with Luke Steele. He released his first solo album, Talk, in 2015. Johns' second solo album, FutureNever, was released on 22 April 2022. In 2007, Johns was ranked at number 18 on Rolling Stone's list of The 25 Most Underrated Guitarists. Johns has won 21 ARIA Awards from 49 nominations as a member of Silverchair, and has earned four other nominations as a solo artist.
Emma Louise Lobb, who performs as Emma Louise, is an Australian indie pop singer-songwriter from Cairns. She is best known for her 2011 debut single "Jungle". Jessica Alyssa Cerro, who performs as Montaigne, is an Australian art pop musician and Twitch streamer.
