Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards

Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards are annual awards that honors the emerging musical artists in India. [1] [2] The award was instituted in memory of Jyotsna Darda (wife of Vijay Darda) by Lokmat media. [3] The event is usually held in Nagpur but lately, it has been organized in other cities such as Mumbai and Delhi. [4] [5] In 2023, the award also created a category 'Sur Jyotsna National Music Legends'. [6]

Vijay Jawaharlal Darda is a politician from Indian National Congress party, and was a Member of the Parliament of India representing Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha since 1998, having been elected for three consecutive terms into the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He is the chairman of the Lokmat Media Group. He is also the President of the Akhil Bhartiya Sakal Jain Samaj. Darda was President of the Indian Newspaper Society, New Delhi from 1997 to 1998. He continues to be a member of its executive committee.

Rakkhosh is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller drama film where the camera is the lead character of the film. It is a first-person POV of a schizophrenic person. The film is an adaptation of a Marathi short story titled "Patient 302", by late Shri Narayan Dharap, who is a well-known writer in Marathi Literature in horror genre.

His second book 'Next Patient, Please' was released on 26 March 2022. He was featured among top 75 personalities of Rohilkhand region of Uttar Pradesh by Amar Ujala. The list was published on the 75th foundation day of the newspaper.
