Survivant (French word for Survivor) is the first album by Belgian hip hop group Starflam to be released by EMI. It achieved platinum disk status in Belgium, with more than 60,000 copies sold. In 2004, Starflam gave some concerts in Quebec (Canada) for the album's promotion in North America.
Starflam is a Belgian hip hop group from Liège in the French-speaking southern part of Belgium - Wallonia. The group started out in the early 1990s under the name H-Posse with members DJ Mig One, Fred'alabas, Seg and Balo. A few years later, after Brussels-born Akro and Mista R. joined the group, the name was changed to Malfrats Linguistiques. Mista R. later left the group when he emigrated to France, and was replaced by Kaer and Pavé, 2 rappers from Liège. The group changed names again, now to Starflam. They now consist of 5 rappers, a bass player and a DJ. In 2005, Balo left the group to start a solo career.
Chansons pour les pieds is the seventh and final solo album by Jean-Jacques Goldman, released on 20 November 2001 and sung in French. The album was recorded at the Théâtre du Cratère d'Alès by Eric Van de Hel and Gildas Lointier, assisted by Renaud Van Welden. All songs were written by the singer himself. Released by JRG, the album met smash success on the charts : it topped the French and Belgian Albums Charts and remained charted for almost two years, and was #2 in Switzerland. As the title suggests, all the tracks are devoted to dance and represent music styles.

Seul... avec vous met success in the Belgium and France, reaching the top five of the charts.

This album mainly features songs from their 2008 studio album L'expédition. The group wanted their fans to have access to other songs recorded on the night they made the live album, so each week since the release of the album, a bonus song was released on their official website.
