Susan was a pop singer who recorded in Japan in the early 1980s. She is half-French and half-Japanese. [1] Her music is technopop in style, mainly featuring synthesisers and drum machines.
Susan had records released by CBS in the UK, though no single ever reached the top 40. In Japan, Epic Sony released her music. [2] She was known to collaborate with various members of Yellow Magic Orchestra [3] and other Japanese producers of the time such as Kazuhiko Katoh, Yukihiro Takahashi, [3] Hajime Tachibana [3] and Keiichi Suzuki. [3] Though all her releases refer to her as Susan (or Suzan if directly taken from the Japanese katakana transliteration of her name, スーザン), the CDDB refers to her as being "Susan. E" when the "Complete Susan CD" is played in Winamp or RealPlayer. Aside from singing, she has also done some work as a model for clothing company Miho Matsuda and cosmetics company Shiseido Co. Ltd.
Since 2005, Susan has been playing live dates in Tokyo featuring re-arranged versions of her releases and has been writing new material.

Cocteau Twins were a Scottish rock band active from 1979 to 1997. They were formed in Grangemouth on the Firth of Forth by Robin Guthrie and Will Heggie (bass), adding Elizabeth Fraser (vocals) in 1981. They signed with the record label 4AD in 1982 and released their debut album Garlands. In 1983, Heggie was replaced with multi-instrumentalist Simon Raymonde. The group earned critical praise for their ethereal, effects-laden sound and the soprano vocals of Fraser, whose lyrics often eschew any recognisable language. They pioneered the 1980s alternative subgenre of dream pop and helped define what would become shoegaze.
William Nelson is an English singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer, painter, video artist, writer and experimental musician. He rose to prominence as the chief songwriter, vocalist and guitarist of the rock group Be-Bop Deluxe, which he formed in 1972. Nelson has been described as "one of the most underrated guitarists of the seventies art rock movement". In 2015, he was recognised with the Visionary award at the Progressive Music Awards.
Frank Secich is an American rock musician, songwriter, author and record producer. He was the bass player and founding member of the group Blue Ash from 1969 to 1979 and guitarist and bassist for the Stiv Bators band from 1979 until 1981. He played in the Cleveland-based group Club Wow with Jimmy Zero of the Dead Boys from 1982 to 1985 and produced the Ohio band the Infidels from 1985 to 1990. He is currently the rhythm guitarist for the Deadbeat Poets who were formed in 2006 in Youngstown, Ohio. Frank Secich's autobiography "Circumstantial Evidence" was published by High Voltage Publishing of Australia in 2015. His second book "Not That Way Anymore" was published in November 2023 by High Voltage Publishing. His current band, The Deadbeat Poets are on Pop Detective Records, which is owned by Mark Hershberger.

American country and Christian music artist Cristy Lane has released 18 studio albums, 23 compilation albums, one video album, one music video, 33 singles and appeared on one album. I Dreamed a Dream is the debut studio album by Scottish singer Susan Boyle. It was released on 23 November 2009 by Syco Music in the United Kingdom, and by Columbia Records in the United States one day later. In the standard edition, 11 out of the 12 songs that appear on the album are cover songs, plus the original composition "Who I Was Born to Be". It quickly became the world's biggest selling album of 2009, according to IFPI. The album had sold around 10 million copies worldwide since its debut.
Kiss is the second studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen. It was released on September 14, 2012, by 604, Schoolboy and Interscope Records. After her debut, Tug of War (2008), was only released in Canada, Kiss became Jepsen's first internationally released album. Level3 is the fourth studio album by Japanese girl group Perfume. It was released on October 2, 2013, by Universal J and Perfume Records. Level3 marks Perfume's fourth consecutive album to be fully produced by Japanese producer and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata, while Perfume contributes to the album as the lead, background vocalists, and executive producers through their self-titled record label. Recorded in Japanese and English language, Level3 is an electronic dance album that borrows numerous musical elements including J-pop, house music, and technopop.
