The Swedish Magic Circle Society [1] (Swedish : Svensk Magisk Cirkel, SMC) is the national organization for magic in Sweden. SMC was founded in 1946, has its seat in Stockholm, and counts around 350 members. The magazine of SMC is called Trollkarlen ("The Magician"). In 2011 was the 65-year anniversary.

In 2012, Halvarson performed as 'The Trickster' in the Singapore run of the renowned magic show, The Illusionists.
Åke Joel Ohlmarks was a Swedish author, translator and scholar of religion. He worked as a lecturer at the University of Greifswald from 1941 to 1945. Together with the Deutsche Christen member Wilhelm Koepp he founded the institute for religious studies there in 1944. His most notable contribution to the field is his 1939 study of Shamanism. As a translator, he is notable for his Swedish version of the Icelandic Edda, of Shakespeare's works and of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, the Qur'an and works by Dante, Nostradamus and others.
Ben Seidman is an American sleight-of-hand performer, actor, comedian, and creative consultant who has won the entertainer of the year award for Princess Cruises and guest starred on Netflix's "Brainchild". He is the only person to have served as the Resident Magician at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. In 2013, Seidman co-starred in Magic Outlaws on Travel Channel. Following the debut of his TV specials, Ben taught Johnny Knoxville magic tricks for his film Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. Seidman’s performances are notable for featuring original magic effects. His inventions are employed in A&E’s program Mindfreak, starring Criss Angel, where Seidman served as writer and adviser for three seasons. Seidman tours globally, bringing his live show—a combination of sleight-of-hand, pickpocketing, and comedy—to colleges, parties and events.

The General Industrial Exposition of Stockholm (1866) or only the Stockholm Exposition of 1866 was an international aviation exhibition held in the Swedish capital of Stockholm. It was the first international Art- and Industrial Exposition held after a European pattern in Sweden. Circa 3.800 people from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland participated. The exposition was took place in the Industrial Hall at Kungsträdgården and at the Nationalmuseum on Blasieholmen in Stockholm between the 15 June and the 14 October 1866.
