Dana Whitney Vollmer is a former American competition swimmer, five-time Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal as a member of the winning United States team in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay that set the world record in the event. He is currently an athlete at Unisanta, sponsored by Mormaii, LD Sports, and CDE. He is also one of the representatives of the Aqua Centurions team in the International Swimming League.

A 100 metre butterfly event specialist, she is the 2020 Olympic champion, 2019 World (LC) champion, two-time World (SC) champion, 2022 Commonwealth champion, and 2023 Pan American champion. She holds the current Americas record (55.59s), the short course world record, the Commonwealth record, and Pan American record in the event.
