The following month, the band released their first EP titled Catharsis, after this release Dennen left the band. Guitarist Kamlyuk then fronted the band at this point and recorded vocals for the band's second EP titled Start/End, which was released in 2012. That same year, Dennen returned to the band as vocalist and recorded a single titled "Let Down" featuring Chad Ruhlig of For the Fallen Dreams. [9]
After a signing to Razor & Tie, Sworn In recorded and released their debut album The Death Card in 2013 [10] after releasing the single "Three Cheers" from it. [5] The album charted at number 184 at the Billboard 200 charts. [11]

[19] Their second album, titled The Lovers/The Devil , was released on April 7, 2015.

Devil isn't something I thought long and hard about. It is something that hit me, and hard. I asked myself if I was brave enough to stand behind such a strong, emotionally evoking word.. and I knew right then, that was it. This title is not to be confused with the muscled, red horned man surrounded by fire. This is about the temptations of everyday life; the things that become regrets; the moments where you are forced to make a choice that will determine how it is that you look at yourself for the rest of your life. This album is my definition of Devil.
