Syrians in Finland are immigrants from Syria residing in Finland. They are the second largest Arab community in Finland after Iraqis.
Nearly all Syrians in Finland have arrived as refugees. Syrians have been one of the smaller refugee groups in Finland in spite of the Syrian civil war, however they became the largest group in 2017. [2]

Turku is a city and former capital on the southwestern coast of Finland at the mouth of the River Aura, in the region of Southwest Finland (Varsinais-Suomi) and the former Turku and Pori Province. The region was originally called Suomi (Finland), which later became the name of the whole country. The population of Turku is 201,085, making it the sixth largest city in Finland. The Turku region has a population of 345,522, making it the third largest urban area in Finland after the Helsinki and Tampere regions. The city is officially bilingual, with 5.5 per cent of the population having Swedish as their mother tongue.
Lapland is the largest and northernmost region of Finland. The 21 municipalities in the region cooperate in a Regional Council. Lapland borders the region of North Ostrobothnia in the south. It also borders the Gulf of Bothnia, Norrbotten County in Sweden, Troms and Finnmark County in Norway, and Murmansk Oblast and the Republic of Karelia in Russia. Topography varies from vast mires and forests of the South to fells in the North. The Arctic Circle crosses Lapland, so polar phenomena such as the midnight sun and polar night can be viewed in Lapland.
Mariehamn is the capital of Åland, an autonomous territory under Finnish sovereignty. Mariehamn is the seat of the Government and Parliament of Åland, and 40% of the population of Åland live in the city. It is mostly surrounded by Jomala, the second largest municipality in Åland in terms of population; to the east it is bordered by Lemland. Like all of Åland, Mariehamn is unilingually Swedish-speaking and around 82% of the inhabitants speak it as their native language.
Askola is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the Uusimaa region. The municipality has a population of 4,733 and covers an area of 218.03 square kilometres (84.18 sq mi) of which 5.61 km2 (2.17 sq mi) is water. The population density is 22.28 inhabitants per square kilometre (57.7/sq mi). Monninkylä is the largest village of municipality in terms of population. Neighbouring municipalities are Myrskylä, Mäntsälä, Pornainen, Porvoo and Pukkila.
Aura is a municipality of Finland. The name derives from the river Aura and the plough reminiscent shape of the municipality. The municipality was established in 1917 from parts of Lieto and Pöytyä.
Nousiainen is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southwest Finland region, 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Turku along Highway 8 (E8). The Finnish-speaking municipality has a population of 4,695 (30 September 2023) and covers an area of 199.55 square kilometres (77.05 sq mi) of which 0.62 km2 (0.24 sq mi) is water. The population density is 23.6 inhabitants per square kilometre (61/sq mi).

It covers an area of 675.38 square kilometres (260.77 sq mi) of which 132.18 km2 (51.03 sq mi) is water. The population density is 4.7 inhabitants per square kilometre (12/sq mi). Neighbouring municipalities are Heinola, Joutsa, Luhanka, Pertunmaa and Sysmä.
Järvenpää is a town and municipality in Finland. It is located on the Helsinki–Riihimäki railway track in Uusimaa region, some 37 kilometres (23 mi) north of Helsinki. Neighbouring municipalities are Tuusula, Sipoo and Mäntsälä. People also refer to Kerava as Järvenpää's neighbour, even though they do not technically share a border, thanks to the one kilometre-wide land area that belongs to Tuusula.

Uusikaupunki is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southwest Finland region, 71 kilometres (44 mi) northwest of Turku and 97 kilometres (60 mi) south of Pori. The municipality has a population of 14,934 and covers an area of 551.65 square kilometres (212.99 sq mi) of which 49.04 km2 (18.93 sq mi) is inland water. The population density is 29.68 inhabitants per square kilometre (76.9/sq mi).
